It's very compact when closed but has ample space inside the bag. The construction is top notch and this should last years unlike the bag it's replacing that lasted less than one year. Great product!!!!!

Smaller items, including my phone, fit in the side pocket neatly. There is no need to carry anything else. As an added bonus, the bag is built well and it looks great!

While there are plenty of generic notebook cases available in the marketplace, this HP item was specifically designed to accommodate my HP notebook in its sumptuous padded interior space along with other ancillaries such as the power supply cord, several writing implements, and even a number of file folders when necessary. When I showed up at the office of a client recently, he was impressed with my new acquisition and called the setup 'broker in a bag.'

My old laptop was mammoth and heavy, so I was thrilled to get a new smaller HP Envy, and this tote to carry it to and from work has been far better than the old giant one i used to have. Very slim yet holds a surprising amount and lots of sections for supplies.
