Does not last
I bought 24 Belkin B2B124 plug and play keyboards to use with iPads in the classroom. These keyboards have only been used for one school year due to school closures. These keyboards are made for school use and now I have four of them that are not working. Why? My students are not mishandling the equipment and we take very good care of the products. We have two that will not connect to iPads and two where the lightning port broke off. Why are these products made not to last when they cost $60 for one keyboard. This gets expensive when you have to buy for students in a classroom. These keyboards work really well and students love them, but they don't last and stop connecting when they are plugged in. Can't something be done about this product that cannot hold up to a normal classroom use? Belkin, can't you make a product that will last a little longer than one school year?

It works - not on par with the iPad Smart keyboard
This is the only Apple "approved" keyboard to connect with a three year old iPad (9.7") . My Apple smart keyboard quit connecting on month 10; Apple replaced it; then 14 months later the replacement keyboard quit. Apple no longer makes a keyboard that fits the iPad. Built in REDUNDANCY! The Belkin works with the lightning plug - but it is larger and clumsy. You need to carry it around - and it is bigger than the iPad. The smart keyboard was the cover to the iPad. The Belkin works -- when it is plugged in -- but I will be happy in a year or two when it is time to replace the iPad and then I won't need the cumbersome Belkin. This is NOT Belkin's fault -- it is APPLE's issue -- their own design did not hold up and they would not allow anyone to develop a replacement. APPLE is getting greedy - they want me to buy a new iPad and keyboard now. No WAY!
