OK but wouldn't connect to TV via HDMI
The product is a good thing if you are working with a laptop and hate disconnecting all the various peripherals connect to the laptop when you need to move the laptop.
This dock allows you to just disconnect 1 thunderbolt connector.
For some reason my unit did not come with a cord or power supply.
Everything worked except the HDMI port. If I connected my TV directly to my laptop, no problem but using the Dock, it wouldn't work - TV kept saying no signal.
That's why I downgraded my rating. If the HDMI worked, I'd give it a 5.
Of course you can only used this Dock on newer laptops etc. that have a Thunderbolt port. Couldn't find an answer on-line or at the Belkin website

Compact and easy to use
I have been using this for couple of weeks now and love the compact form factor. Fact that it has both HDMI and DP ports, you can use it with wide variety of displays. One thing however that could make this go from good to awesome product is if it comes with USC 65+w power adapter that is required to power it on.

If it has the ports you need, a great choice
When looking at these devices the only questions I have are 1) Does it have the ports I need? and 2) Does it work?
1. I was using the Apple HDMI adapter, so yes, this provides a few more options. It will depend on your needs if it has the ports.
2. It works.
Compared to Apple’s HDMI adapter I was using, besides having additional ports, I’ve found that it has been more stable when working with an external monitor, it seems to sleep and wake more reliably. Given its size, it is also nice to have something that stays in place when not connected so I can easily find the cord needed to reconnect.
It has two lights on top, one indicating power and one indicating a connection to the computer. There are also the usual lights around the Ethernet port when a cable is connected. I am not using this in a room where this would matter, but I always find it helpful to know.
Used with 13” 2018 MacBook Pro.

Better Than I Expected
I had bought two other docks from different companies trying to connect my 2019 MacBook Pro to two monitors. I thought I had done my research and when I connected the other ports ran into similar problem where they would display one monitor but not the other. When I received my Thunderbolt 3 Belkin Dock, I figured it would be the same. I connected one of my Dell monitors using a display port, the other using and HDMI cable and figured it would be the same thing as the other ports. Both screens immediately came, I had my extended desktop with my laptop and two other screens. Without running any power to it I can usually get about 1 hour and a half to about 50% battery life without even connecting the power cable. Now, you would not use it like this, however I still found this impressive. The one feature that I have liked about this dock other than it utmost simplicity, is that I can use my usb c power adapter. There is not need for a propriety cable to run power to my MacBook.

Thunderbolt 3 Dock/Thunderbolt 3
I connected the Thunderbolt 3 Dock model# F4U110 to my router/4K monitor/keyboard/mouse and MacBook. Everything powered up and ran to specs. The hub pushed the 4K signal and charged the laptop. I am well pleased with the operation of the hub.
The only disappointment was the product box didn’t come with its on power supply and thunderbolt cord to power up the hub. I used my laptop power supply and cable to overcome the issue.
I would definitely recommend this hub to anyone that needs to add peripherals to their Apple laptops.

Fast, powerful, and easy to use
I wasn't sure when I got the Thunderbolt 3 Dock Core how powerful it was. It needs no drivers on Mac OS X and is one simple Thunderbolt 3 connection. Once connected, it provides USB-A, Ethernet, and HDMI. There is also a display port. I am able to leave the dock on my desk and one simple connection gives me all this functionality. Because the dock is small, I am also able to take it with me when I need this amount of connectivity. I highly recommend this product. It is excellent.

Effective Simplicity
The thunderbolt dock is truly an amazing solution to plug and play set up. Considering that new MacBooks don’t have too many ports the dock makes it easy to connect all my accessories, monitors and charge my laptop with one cord. If there is one minor critique I wish the device had at least one thunderbolt 3 out port since everything seems to be transitioning and some of my accessories already use thunderbolt 3. Full points for what it does thought!

Excellent TB3 Dock
First, I love the design, it's very simple and understated, but also very efficient and doesn't look gaudy on a desk. I have 2 other USB-C hubs, but this is the 1st TB3 dock I've used, and is definitely the best looking. When plugging into my HP Spectre I got a Thunderbolt 3 notification, notifying me it was a genuine TB3 device. It worked flawlessly with Ethernet, dual displays, and powering my usb devices with excellent throughput.
I also tried this device with my SurfaceGo 2, but since that doesn't support TB3, it wouldn't connect and work properly. I'm not sure that is a problem with the dock and not the TB3 spec, so keep in mind that your device MUST support TB3, and USB-C alone isn't enough.
I think the ideal use case for this is as a separate travel/mobile dock or if being used as the main dock, with the laptop placed directly on the desk and not elevated. My main setup uses a laptop stand, so I needed to stack some things under the dock to get it to the laptop's height due to the short cable. When using this with a laptop that's not on a stand, I think it should be placed behind the computer so as not to obstruct any of the ports.
As long as you use it with a Thunderbolt 3 device that is on a flat surfce, I think it's a great device with plenty of ports, speed, and style. Highly recommended if you want/need maximum TB3 bandwidth in a small package.

All my connections plus pow..
Using this to connect my wifes Macbook 13 inch computer at her "work from home" desk. She likes to move her laptop to the outside deck when the weather is good. The Thunderbolt 3 Dock Cor makes it easy make the move. One connector for power, montor, keyboard, mouse and internet. Less wear on the computer plugs, and I'm not needed when connection did not work when she did the connections herself with all the ports on the laptop. Love it when products just work as stated, and the dock is well made and have a clean look on the desk....

Single Cable Connectivity!
Setup is plug and play, and I gave this set up a few weeks before writing my review.
I tested this with two laptops that support Thunderbolt. An HP Spectre x360 and HP Elite Book 840 G5 and both worked without any issues and had full access to all the features. In these configurations, I had the Ethernet, HDMI w/audio, USB, and external power supply ports in use. The ONLY cable going to the laptops was the Thunderbolt cable from the dock.
We used the USB-C charger that came with the PC to power the dock and, in turn, charge the laptop.
Overall, it is a solid performer and makes connecting your laptop to several peripherals quick and easy by plugging in one cable for all.
It’s compact enough to move around if you need to, but we keep it at the desk and like plugging in one cable to get everything connected.

Excellent Dock
First impression upon examining this dock is that it is solid and well built. There is the heft of a quality piece of equipment, though it is not heavy. It is roughly 3.5 inches square and about 1 inch tall. The cord is about 8 inches long and solidly constructed. The dock is an attractive quality black plastic with a non-reflective matte finish. This supplies the necessary ports that have slowly disappeared over the last few years - giving you 2 USB ports, a headphone/microphone jack, network port, HDMI, DisplayPort and a Thunderbolt 3 port. Since I have external monitors and "legacy" equipment these ports are welcome. It is very easy to just leave those devices plugged into this dock and just insert one plug to gain access to everything.
I could not detect any lag in response at all and the unit performs as advertised. I did not appreciate any excess heat. It just worked. The layout is makes sense with the ports of the more "permanent" peripherals to the back - namely the video and the network ports. The USB and headphone/microphone are to the left. The 8 inch cord seems about perfect, sturdy and is not long enough to get in the way.
This has all the ports I will likely need and the additional Thunderbolt 3 port will let me add on in the future.
If you need a dock to attach peripherals or convert your laptop into a desktop, this is a very solid choice in a Thunderbolt 3 dock.

Problems with GigabitEthernet port
Positives: Thunderbolt 3 2nd generation (Titan Ridge), which allows up to 8K @30fps or 5K @60fps out of a single DP port. Therefore, DP version here is DP1.4, which is still rare. To take advantage of the DP1.4 resolutions (8K @30fps or 5K @60fps), you must have a 15" MacBook Pro (2018-2019), 16" MacBook Pro (2019), MacBook Air (2020) or 13" MacBook Pro (2020) with a 10th generation CPU. Any other MacBook Pros will not support higher resolutions out of one DP1.4 port on this dock and will be limited with 4K @60Hz. Even the 13" 2020 MacBook Pros with the 8th generation CPU will be limited to 4K@60Hz (due to the integrated iGPU that doesn't support DP1.4 in one stream).
Negatives: The GigabitEthernet port is flaky and the speed is all over the place. If you need reliable and fast GigabitEthernet out of this dock, then forget it.
More Negatives: Others report similar issues with USB-3 ports on the dock that provide flaky connectivity and unreliable connection speeds. I didn't test that, but I can tell you that when I plugged in an 8GB Transcend USB3 flash drive in to a USB3 port on this dock, it mounted as a USB3 device, but after only about 10 minutes of being plugged in to the USB3 port on the dock, the USB connector on the flash drive was hot to the touch.
I think this dock has cooling problems, which affects the consistency of the GigabitEthernet and the USB port speeds. On the other hand, the DP1.4 port worked flawlessly, and the connected 5K monitor was able to go to sleep and wake up together with the Mac as expected.

Solid portable dock for Macintosh OSx or Windows
When I first opened the box and saw that it did not have a power cable, I had a bad first impression and worried if I was going to like this product. But in over two weeks of using the Thunderbolt 3 Dock Core I have grown to overlook that only negative. My job has me go back and forth between a Macintosh and Windows computer and this has been the best dock I have found that works with both. I have used other docks that work well with one or the other, but this dock truly did not care which machines I had attached. Dual screen is a must for a dock and this dock does that well. Plan ahead and make sure you have the right cables as the displays out are not the same (HDMI and DisplayPort). In a portable and work from home world this dock gets high marks in my book for its simplistic, portable, functionality!

Perfect Addition to MacBook Pro for College
The Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Core couldn't have been easier to set up on my grandson's new MacBook Pro. He had no idea that adding an HDMI monitor would be a challenge with only one Thunderbolt 3 jack, especially since he wanted to keep his iPhone connected at the same time. The instant we connected the Thunderbolt 3 Dock Core and plugged in his monitor via HDMI, the monitor was recognized and it only took a minor change in setting to mirror his desktop. The ability to connect additional devices for simultaneous use allows him to use his laptop as a desktop, which is so important while attending college both virtually and in class.

A must have for Mac users
I enjoy my MacBook but sometimes get frustrated that the only connections are USB-C ports. Thunderbolt dock takes care of that issue. One connection to my laptop and I have a simple docking base to make all of my traditional connections, with no need to rummage for adapters.
Light and portable. The overall design makes it small enough to carry in my laptop bag without the bulk. This makes the dock even more convenient for travel. The dock will be coming along any time I take the laptop.
One suggestion would be to consider making the built in cable a little longer, maybe add about six inches to the length. I was able to find an inexpensive USB-C extention cord on Amazon to get around that.

PERIPHERALS & PERFORMANCE OF A FULL-SIZE DESKTOP
SETUP:
Running the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Core on macOS, there are no drivers or applications to install, so the unit is plug and play right out of the box.
GENERAL:
I configured the Belkin hub with a 2016 MacBook Pro and used it to drive two 1440p displays, while supplying power, USB, and ethernet to the laptop. After using the Dock for a week, it performed flawlessly, with not so much as a hiccup to give any concern for its reliability and stability. The high definition signal passed to the monitors was everything you would expect.
STRENGTHS:
No set up required, compact size, and works flawlessly right out of the box. The Thunderbolt 3 Dock Core expands the functionality of the notebook to support multiple high-performance peripherals as one would have with a full desktop.
WEAKNESSES:
The cable attached to the dock is quite short and does not allow it to be located far from the MacBook (or other brand notebook) and takes up valuable space on the desk in the primary work area. The unit tends to run warm, but not so much as to make it a concern for the service life of the device.
CONCLUSION:
I highly recommend the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Dock Core to expand the capability of any laptop by connecting multiple high-performance peripherals. It sets up quickly, runs flawlessly, and is very stable/reliable.

Essential for working from home
I use a Lenovo Laptop at work with a docking station. When working from home I was missing the necessary ports for other devices. This dock makes connecting to multiple periphery devices and monitor very easy.
It is also small enough to be portable.
Even with working from home, I was able to setup a similar office space as at work and in order to use it I only have to connect one cable from the docking station to my laptop.
However, one issue I ran into is that when I connect the dock to the power supply, all devices connected to the front USB plugs stop working.

Nice and Compact Dock
This is a nice compact dock to connect your computer peripherals via thunderbolt cable. The dock has 1 DisplayPort, 1 HDMI port, 1 Ethernet Port, 3.5 mm Audio jack, and 2 USB ports. The dock draws power from attached computer via thunderbolt cable and it doesn't have a need to be powered externally. The DisplayPort, HDMI, and Ethernet connections performed well and were stable. USB ports worked well to connect wireless devices (keyboard and mice). All in all this is a compact and a low key hub that can be hidden and kept out of sight if need. The only thing I wished this package came with was an external power cable with power adapter so it can also be used with older computers or computers without thunderbolt port.

Great Portable Solution
Good pairing with a MacBook Pro or similar, gives you charging throughput with your existing PSU, and network, display, and USB connectivity through one thunderbolt port. There's no thunderbolt throughput, but in the case of a MBP you still have 3 TB3 ports left over. The headphone jack is useful too, but it doesn't sound as good as the built in one on my MBP, I'm guessing it's a lower quality D to A converter.

Convenient compact package
Just received this to go with a new Macbook Pro. Has the right set of features and small enough to carry in a backpack or laptop case. Since the Macbook only provides 2 USB-C ports, this gives you pretty much whatever else you'd need; 2 USB-A, 1 USB-C, ethernet, HDMI, displayport, and analog headphone/mic port.
The packaging is simple with just the square boxy unit and small fold out diagram of the connections. There is no real written manual, but you pretty much just plug it in to your laptop's thunderbolt (USB-C) port. You can then take your laptop's USB-C charger and plug into the USB-C on the Belkin dock. That allows you to charge/power the laptop while still using all the dock's ports.
I specifically tested the USB-A with a 256MB flash drive and Mac OS recognized the drive with no problem. Then we hooked up the HDMI to my large LG TV and Mac OS recognized and configured it automatically as an external display.
One question I had was if the dock would work without external power from the laptop charger, and it does in fact seem to work just fine, drawing power from the laptop's thunderbolt port.

Great Add on for my Laptop
I received this product, not totally sure what I would use it for. After reading a bit about it and playing around, I have found that I needed it more that I had imagined. The HDMI out has been very useful as I can now have a dual screen experience while working on audio projects or sight reading guitar tabs. This task is much easier when I can hook my laptop up to my television, instead of leaning over to view them on my laptop screen. The audio out sounds pretty great as well. The3re is a slight lag between the computer and my television but nothing That is terribly noticeable. It is likely due to my older television. I am still discovering new ways to use the Dock Core but so far I am impressed.

Solid tech from a solid vendor.
I tried this product to replace a no-name one I've had for a couple of years. In some ways it was better, and in some ways it was worse.
The better part was that with the other one, every time I reconnected my laptop, I needed to pull out the power cord from the dock and reinsert it, before I inserted the USB-C plug in my laptop. Otherwise, it would not power the laptop. With the Belkin one, this did not happen and that was a great relief.
What didn't work for me with the Belkin one was that it used a different audio driver which produced much degraded sound quality than the no-name. I am using Bose desktop speaker so for me the sound quality was very visible.
The second issue I had with the Belkin is that I think you need at least 3 USB ports and this model only has two. You need one for the mouse, one for the keyboard and I need another one for my external hard drive, which I use for Time Machine backup. This was a showstopper for me. I personally don't need the DisplayPort socket, as everything today connects with HDMI anyway, so I think they would do good if they replaced that port with another USB port.
If they fix the audio driver and add another USB port, I am content.

It makes MacBook usage much easier
I love my MacBook but get frustrated that it only has Thunderbolt ports, which means I have to carry small adapters everywhere. The Dock Core has really helped in keeping USB and HDMI cables in check. I also keep my Time Machine drive hooked up to the Dock Core permanently so I don't have to tote that around. Also nice about the dock is that it's small enough to fit comfortably into my computer bag for travel.
One suggestions: Make the main cable a little longer, maybe add 6 inches. I got around that with a USB-C extension cord.

I ordered this device thinking it would eliminate a lot of adapters I was carrying along with my 2019 MacBook Pro. Unfortunately if I intend to use this I will still need to carry quite a few adapters. I found this device does not work with the external USB Apple Superdrive CD/DVD. My Mac reports that the device is not powered when plugged into one of the USB ports on the device even though the device itself is plugged into a 60 Watt USB-C power supply. I wasn't able to test the DisplayPort as I have no monitors or cables to facilitate that. It would be nice if the device allowed for connection of an SD card. I also found the device bulky for using with my MacBook Pro on my lap, but it works well sitting on a table or desk.

Big Dongle / Mini/Travel Dock / Port Extender
Belkin's Thunderbolt 3 Dock Core replaces 2 or 3 USB-C dongles, and allows me to quickly connect my laptop to a monitor, headphones, ethernet (more reliable than WiFi for videoconferencing), a USB license key, and a USB backup drive. It's solidly built and USB devices stay reliably connected and powered (when the dock is connected to a USB-C power supply) unlike with some other USB hubs. The attached USB-C cord is on the short side though (~20cm). This requires the dock to be positioned pretty much next to your computer, like a dongle. The USB-C port seems to be for incoming power only and the dock seems happiest when connected to a power supply; one that passes power and data would be a nice addition for future models. This product falls somewhere between a dongle and a dock, and provides functionality and convenience of both. It's not as compact as the former (but can take the place of 2-3), and it's few ports short of being a full-fledged dock (but takes up less space than most docks and allows one to use the power supply you already have for your laptop). I can also see using this as a handy port extender for a desktop instead of fumbling behind the machine looking for ports.

Works as expected, but thunderbolt cord is short
Works as expected, but thunderbolt cord is short. I used this dock with my 16" MacBook Pro. I have it connected to two monitors, while using my MacBook Pro's monitor as a third monitor. Each monitor is used as an extension of the MacBook Pro.
The only complaint I have is the Thunderbolt cord attached to the dock is short. It would be nice if it were twice as long. I have my MacBook on a stand, so the cord is just barely long enough. I had to use a command hook velcro attachment to keep the dock from lifting up.
Otherwise, the dock is perfect. Not too expensive, works as expected.

Nice portable dock, could use a few improvements
I purchased this dock while in search of an affordable TB3 dock for my work laptop during WFH. This was the most affordable one I could find from a reputable brand.
Pros:
Ability to power from either USB-C cable or the laptop itself
Plentiful ports
Ability to do 4K 60Hz
Compact size
Cons:
Hardwired and somewhat short TB3 cable
Max 60W power delivery
Have experienced some occasional flakiness when booting the laptop where HDMI doesn't come up. Requires unplug and replug in most instances.
No power button. I dock the laptop in a vertical dock which keeps it closed and a power button to wake the laptop would be perfect.

Works like a charm
I did take a few days to review the product. I had to purchase a usb C adapter for my laptop to be able to connect my external displays. But once I got it and hooked everything up it worked only with a few (3 of maybe 100) hiccups where I had to reboot the box.

Works w/Macbook 13", had to reset SMC for T3 port
Had annoying issue w/Dock when I plugged it in that MacBook only recognized it on 1 of the 2 USB-C / T3 ports. Wasn't charging laptop, screens didn't show. I did a Reset of System Mgmt Control (SMC):
Shutdown,
hold Ctrl+Option+Shift for 7 secs,
hold powerbutton (ie all 4 keys) for 7 seconds,
then turn back on.
Now all working fine.
I don't blame Belkin for this, my MacBook did the same thing w/other adapter -- it just stopped working on one port, then stopped working on the other.
Funny part is that it looks like you're not doing anything, but it definitely resets those ports.
Very happy to have a couple big displays!!!

Good small, portable dock
I've been using this thunderbolt dock with my 2016 macbook pro for about month and it works as advertised. It's easy to use and small enough to be portable. I'm sure it will come in handy once it's safe to travel again.

OK dock, Ethernet bug killed my internet
The dock performed okay for a few weeks, then started bringing down the internet for my entire apartment complex, Belkin couldn't ever figure out why. Other than that, I felt the integrated cable limited me too much as the dock could never be more than a few inches from my laptop, this made the dock sit in the middle of my desk with cords hanging out every way. If this is your only option, it will proabably work fine, but I'd recommend finding another product if at all possible. Coil whine is also a major issue for sensitive ears like mine.

Best purchase of 2021, seriously.
If you are on the fence about purchasing this dock, just get it. You won’t find another one that checks all your boxes like this one does. I’ve had mine since July and I use mine every single day for my digital audio studio. It’s solid, reliable and it’s the only device that allows me to run my Dual monitor setup, extended mode with Mac Monterey via DP and HMDI at the same time.
I use it for my Audio interface and MIDI devices as well and so much more. The uses and functionality are just about endless, I have put it to the test and it far exceeded my expectations. In 6 months of extensive use, I haven’t experienced any connection issues or compatibility issues at all.
Also, you can have another dock hook into it as well if you need even more ports. It works flawlessly and it’s the best dock I’ve used hands down. It may be a little more money than others out there, but in this instance you get quality and reliability that pays for its self. I know I sound like a Belkin spokesperson or something but it’s all true, and I couldn’t do 1/4 of the music producing and video/audio editing that I do without it.

This should work a lot better for the price
We ordered 140 of these and, connecting them to Lenovo T14s, found that we are not able to use dual monitors through the dock. The USB-C connection is too short. No power button on the dock is a poor design.

Constantly hangs
I got this for the ethernet and power pass-through for my x86 MBP but it just. Hangs. Constantly. I've taken everything off it except a USB keyboard and mouse and it still just stops working at random. It actually hung while I was typing that sentence. Worthless.

Nice, if it actually worked.
Using with a Yoga 920. The multi-display functions great, but that's about the only feature this dock is good for.
The ethernet port doesn't work at all. I've tried countless cables and nothing works. However, I can plug in a different generic ethernet adapter and it works just fine.
The USB ports only provide power and not data. I can charge my keyboard and mouse through them, but I've tried 6 different USB drives and nothing will mount. Again, I can connect a generic usb-c hub and drives connect just fine.

Great addition for the WFH setup
Always a fan of Belkin so this also met my expectations. The quality is great and has been a great addition to my WFH setup. The speed is reliable and I can connect a variable of outputs (keyboard, HDMI, charger, USB connectors, etc). Super easy to set-up (minimal to none). I would say it is a bit heavier for a dock so make sure to not let it hang off your charger port. Would recommend!

LOVE this dock
I am a loyal Mac user but I cannot tell you how many times over the years I have wanted to use a flash drive and not been able to because my Macbook doesn't have USB ports. My job requires large video file downloads and my Macbook has the smallest memory that was available for purchase, so things fill up quickly. I absolutely love being able to use a flash drive and my old portable hard drive for storage again. I also love the ability to connect a monitor to my Macbook now, its made working so much easier!

I was super excited for this because I am always creating videos and the fastest way to get the videos from the phone to the computer is through a cord. This helped me bring over several videos without the need of more space on my google drive or Dropbox. This is definitely a lifesaver .

Useful docking station
This docking station is very useful for those with laptops that have thunderbolt 3. This docking station includes a display port, hdmi, Ethernet, just to name a few. It's really helpful to have a display port and hdmi to be able to connect two external monitors. The docking station is small so it doesn't take up too much space (if you happen to have a small desk space). Overall, I am really enjoying this docking station with my Mac laptop. Definitely, a product that I enjoy having and it's very productive.

Honestly I have no idea why I waited so long to get this docking station. It is a million times better than any other brand I have tried and actually connects all my screens and devices seamlessly! It is relatively compact so it isn't clunky and space consuming on your desk, which is a huge benefit for my home office with limited space!

Great for work!
I got the Thunderbolt 3 docking station and since I work from home, I definitely wanted to try it out. This is an amazing docking station. I am able to connect my laptop and monitors all together to work efficiently. What I like the most is the size. My desk is already filled with items but since this is on the smaller size, it does not take up much space. I would recommend if you want a smaller, powerful docking station with plenty of connections.

Review for Thunderbolt 3 Dock Core
I like how you can connect a desktop with a single cable. There is a 2 year warranty which is awesome. The data transfer speed is pretty fast. The thing I didn't like about it is the cable is very short that it came with other than that I'm happy with it

It is just...okay
Easy packaging and instructions. Hooked it up to my laptop and used the wired earphones feature and mouse. Everything on the dock is clearly labeled. Two lights on the top of the dock that indicate power and the thunderbolt action is being used. I did not have an external monitor but they will have to be for the future, but I've had no problems as of yet.

Works great for WFH!
As someone who works from home, I was excited to try the Thunderbolt 3 Port Dock, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed! This dock has been a game changer for me, as it has allowed me to connect all of my accessories to my laptop. The Thunderbolt 3 technology provides lightning-fast data transfer speeds, which means I can transfer large files in no time and work more efficiently. It's also small enough to fit on my desk without taking up too much space, and it's also easy to transport if I need to take my work on the go.

Very nice dock!
This thing is great. One of the issues with newer laptops is that is always seems like you don't have enough ports or places to plug into. This dock helps solve that issue! It's from a brand I trust and felt very good in quality as I expected. It's easy to plug in and have it do exactly what you need it to. I'll definitely be putting this to use!

The quality on the thunderbolt is incredible. Fast and responsive signals thru each port. Nothing is distorted and everything is simple to plug and set up. Your equipment with auto figure the input signals. I love how small the device is and it makes a home office setup still clutter free.

well-designed dock
Working from home, it's nice to have a thunderbolt dock in order to quickly change over from my work laptop to my personal on my monitor. It used to be tedious plugging in and unplugging and replugging all the cords needed but the dock really makes things super easy. It has my hdmi, 2 usb ports, and a type c spot which is perfect. I keep my rgb devices like mouse pad, keyboard, and mouse all on a USB docking station and just plug that in to the dock alongside my hdmi to my monitor and all I have to do is plug in the thunderbolt to whichever laptop I'm using and it seamlessly works perfectly for me. Pretty great device only complaint is the cord is super short but can be easily remedied by purchasing a lengthener. Definitely give it a try; makes a world of difference as far as convenience goes.

Not great
All ports were functioned tested (2xUSBA, Ethernet, HDMI, audio, USBC power, and DisplayPort) Only the DisplayPort had an issue. The DisplayPort could not connect a monitor to the laptop. Confirmed that I was connected a thunderbolt port. Also, the thunderbolt and power LEDs would occasionally not come on even when they are connected. After unplugging and plugging in multiple times, the dock usually comes online. Not sure if this is caused by a sequencing issue or a loose connection.

read the small print if you need dual display Mac
Yes, a very positive and suggestive marketing for dual displays on a Mac. But only a small print declaimer for M1 chipset Macs to indicate that this device will not support dual displays for that whole family of Mac laptops. So, yes! I purchased this device and was seriously disappointed and angry that I was 'played' into this purchase. So I do not expect to purchase other Belkin products. I don't have the time to spare doing a deep dive into all the small print and disclaimers for every product I buy. I will just avoid the most egregious bait-and-switch aftermarket suppliers like Belkin.

External drive glitch, poor firmware update
I installed and it seemed to work, and I really want to like this. It runs two 4k monitors flawlessly, at least so far. But within a day I encountered issues with not seeing the mouse. Then I realized my laptop couldn't see the external drive plugged into the dock. Turns out it has to be the first device plugged into either usb port, and then the other usb port doesn't work. Tried to use the firmware update utility, takes me to docloading Belkin Dock Utility Installer.. Install didn't show the permisison to make changes to my computer. I reran and it installed, but just quit- no idea what to do next. The review notes were of no help. Ran again, and selected repair, this time told me I needed to restart, which I did. Now I have no idea what to do next.. It's in the list of programs in control panel, but there's nothing in the start menu, so I don't know what to do next. Finally discover it installs something that shows up in the system tray- but it's about mac address stuff. Nothing about firmware update. I've done many installs on this pc, and countless installs over the years and this is one of the weirdest. I may have missed something, but I've surely tried. I guess there's a reason this dock is on such a good sale..
