Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well after modificationI bought this cable to go between a Kantronics 3 Plus TNC and my laptop. The D25 end of the cable has lugs that have to be wrestled off before it will fit on the TNC. It was not easy. It would be helpful if the lugs were made to be removed more easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shipped on time, worked fine.No cons. Wish list would include having software configure to given com ports, instead of through Windows (Admin permission problem on windows vs. software setups.) Still product did exactly as it was advertised, and my small COM port problem is fixed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as AdvertisedUsed this cable as a communication bridge from my SMDR port on our Nortel Phone equipment to our Network Server for phone auditing/report generating capabilities. The cable works as advertised. I had an issue with the DB25-side securing screws - they prevented me from securing the DB25 side down into the SMDR port so I used a hacksaw and sawed them off to make the interface bezel flush and allow it to seat properly. This is in no-way a negative aspect of the product as I am using this cable to fulfill a purpose slightly outside of its original scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adapter Cable worked great on W8!Needed this adapter cable to connect my Laptop running W8 to a Kantronics KPC-3 Plus TNC. Since the adapter cable D25 Connector comes with lugs, had to remove the lugs on the back of the TNC before I could install.
