1.95kVA/1.92kW/120V Battery Backup for Network Closets and Small Data Centers

This 5P rack-mount line-interactive UPS system provides reliable battery backup for small business, education, retail, financial or healthcare networking components, including servers, VoIP phones, data storage and PoE switches. The 5P2200RT protects connected devices by providing 20 percent more wattage compared to traditional UPS systems.
Reliable Battery Backup Keeps You Operational Through Power Outages

Valve regulated lead acid (VRLA) battery modules allow you to work through short power failures and give you enough time to safely save files and shut down your system in case of a prolonged blackout. Exclusive ABM technology increases battery life by 50 percent and closely monitors battery health to provide advanced notice when batteries need replacing.
Optional Gigabit Network Interface Offers 24/7 Remote Access

The NETWORK-M2 Gigabit network card (sold separately) enables full remote configuration and management, including load shedding, reboots of connected equipment and safe shutdowns. UPS firmware can also be flashed remotely through the NETWORK-M2 without dropping the load, so you don't have to plan for downtime. The card meets both UL 2900-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 standards for cybersecurity, which were developed to address the vulnerability of connected devices to known malware/exploits and to protect business from these risks. An optional Environmental Monitoring Probe Gen 2 (EMPDT1H1C2, sold separately) provides a variety of environmental monitoring capabilities, including temperature and humidity conditions.
NEMA 5-20R Outlets Protect Your Connected Components

Eight managed 5-20R outlets provide connected equipment with pure sine wave AC output and allow you to monitor power consumption down to the outlet group level. Four outlets are grouped into two load banks that let you shed non-critical loads to extend runtime for critical loads.
LCD Interface Keeps You Informed at a Glance

The five-button graphical LCD provides useful information about the UPS itself, load status, events, measurements and settings. To save energy, the LCD switches to the screen saver after five minutes of inactivity. The backlight LCD automatically dims after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Advanced Communications Ports Allow for Automatic Saves and Shutdowns

RS-232 and USB ports connect to a serial-enabled or USB-enabled device for a variety of communication options (cables are included). The RPO/ROO connector permits emergency shutdown or remote restart of all connected equipment. By adding the optional RELAY-MS interface card (sold separately), a dry-contact relay port can be programmed through the LCD to provide reliable communications to automation and industrial components.
Easy Installation Options

You can mount the 5P2200RT in just 2U of space in an EIA-standard 19-inch rack using the included 4-post rail kit or an optional 2-post rail kit (RK2PA, sold separately). You can also install the UPS in a tower configuration with the included hardware. The eight-foot power cord with NEMA 5-20P plug connects to a compatible AC outlet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullI have a 3000 VA 5P at my DR site. I had to have my Electrical department upgrade my power outlets, it is NO FOOLIN' industrial strength. When the main site burns to the ground, I will have enough UPS for the DR server and the re-implementation server that will be up in 48 hours. Then we can all go back to work in the parking lot on picnic tables! Having a solid UPS solution is so important, and so easily fouled up, I appreciate the solidity and performance of the Eaton 5P line - I have a 2200 VA 5PX with a 2nd battery box in my main server room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullI've put in a few of these. Eaton is a great company with absolutely rock solid equipment. Very high quality UPS. Management software is nice too. The intelligent power management software can be setup to scan for UPSs out on your network. Once its setup, you can configure it to check the health status of each UPS and set alarms for major issues. We've been extremely satisfied with any Eaton equipment we buy. I also go to their UPSs before I even think about checking out another manufacturer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Way way better than APC UPSI've always used APC UPS in the past. Over the past couple of years APC units have become unreliable with various silly error messages. One example was more then one APC bleating that the battery is not installed correctly, they saying it is installed correctly (over and over again). The Eaton UPS's I have installed look more modern, have better power connectivity (in and out) and the web interface with their gigabit ethernet card looks brilliant. Eaton kit can all be cloud managed also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullI love my Eaton 5p! Get this! Get it now. It's the best rackmount UPS ever. It's networked, it talks to Spiceworks, and the LCD panel is easily read. Bonus: you can expand the battery with a chain system!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ups that will actually fit in a small rack!I picked up the 550 version of this right after spiceworld 2019 and a visit to the Eaton booth. So glad i stopped by to talk to them. This is the first rack mount i have found that fits in a small rack. You may need 90 degree/flat power cords depending on your rack construction, but this unit saved me buying an additional rack just to get things setup the way i wanted. Mark me up as another Eaton convert.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullObligatory disclaimer: I received one of these on a SpicePanel; it's a 5P1500RTI've been running it for about nine months now on a home server farm without a single issue or complaint. The ability to sit in the living room and power-cycle unused UPS banks to not devour power when it's not required is great, and the notifications work to let me know if something's gone awry with mains power. The network card integratuionI'm in the process of recommending them to my employer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's Worth Every Penny !!!I've always use the 5P750R Rackmount UPS for all my clients and haven't failed me yet. One feature that I really like about EATON is the automatic startup when power comes back up as soon as it detects power. My customers are happy because of the mini LCD display. When you add the add-on Ethernet card, you'll be able to manage the UPS in their management tool - did I mention that it's a cloud ready?!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from nullA great UPS for the money. I have several of these installed for my network equipment and couldn't be happier. I have mine equipped with a network management card and interfaced to my installation of Eaton intelligent power manager.
