This multi-display splitter connects two 4K or 8K HDMI monitors, projectors or televisions to the DisplayPort output on your laptop or desktop computer. Recommended for digital signage in schools, churches, trade shows, hotels, office conference rooms, restaurants, bars and retail outlets, the B156E-002-H8K-K helps you create video walls, give audio/video presentations in front of large audiences or stream 4K/8K video to multiple locations. By connecting the DisplayPort input to a source that supports DisplayPort MST Mode, you may connect two monitors simultaneously. This allows you to display the same image on each monitor, extend your host desktop across both monitors or combine both monitors into one large display as a video wall. LED indicators let you know which monitors are receiving an AV signal.
The B156E-002-H8K-K supports Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz per monitor with 12-bit Deep Color and 2-channel LPCM audio in extended desktop and mirror modes. In video wall mode, it supports expanded resolutions, including 7680 x 2160 at 60 Hz (2x1 vertical configuration) and 3840 x 4320 at 60 Hz (1x2 horizontal configuration). The B156E-002-H8K-K is compliant with HDMI 2.0 standards and is backward compatible with previous versions. The B156E-002-H8K-K supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), providing a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 4K display. HDCP 2.3 encryption allows you to stream 4K content with no complications. This extender kit also supports uncompressed 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.
Power over Cable (PoC) technology powers the remote receivers over Cat6 cable. LEDs on both the transmitter and receivers will light up to indicate the system is receiving power and a signal is being transmitted. PoC lets you avoid the hassle of bulky power bricks and gives you the freedom to place the receivers away from an AC outlet. Just connect your source device to the splitter with a user-supplied DisplayPort cable up to 15 feet (4.6 meters). User-supplied Cat6 cables connect the splitter and the pigtail receivers, which connect directly to the monitors. The B156E-002-H8K-K is compliant with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA), which makes it eligible for GSA (General Services Administration) Schedule and other federal procurement contracts.
