This plan provides 24/7 telephonic support, software updates and advanced parts replacement of covered equipment. The service includes the provision of operational software and hardware upgrades for the duration of the maintenance plan. Should parts need replacement, Extreme Networks ExtremeWorks NBD plan guarantees the immediate shipment of field replacement units for delivery the next business day. NBD delivery is available in North America, parts of South America, Europe, South Africa and Australasia.

The Extreme Networks extended service agreement includes telephonic and web access to the Extreme Networks Global Technical Assistance Center, allowing customers to report technical problems, discuss product-related issues and obtain help for Extreme Networks hardware and operational software. Extreme will always endeavor to provide a service response in terms of its published case severity and escalation guidelines. The Extreme Networks ExtremeWorks 1-year plan covers a period of 12 months from the date of implementation and is conditional on customers maintaining the software at the currently supported revision level.
