The rugged telephones in the GAI-Tronics Behavioral Health series are intended for use in environments where conversation privacy is required. The rear mounting plate of the unit allows for telephone line access, eliminating the need for visibility or access to cabling. This model has a surface-mount design for indoor use, as well as a handset with a noise-canceling microphone, a receiver that is compatible with hearing aids, and a 12-inch armored cord with an anchored lanyard. It also meets ADA requirements for corridor installation.
