Under the present circumstances I can understand why delivery might be slower than normal. I was told it would be a 2-4 day delivery- instead it took over a week. Ink is a pretty basic, but essential item to being able to use my printer, and I had important legal documents to print out. This was frustrating.

Glad I ordered from HP. I had bought an HP cartridge from Walmart and it ended up being fake. It was in an HP carton. When I put it in my printer I was told it wasnt a cartridge that would work with the printer. What a waste of money. Needless to say, I wont be buying that product from Walmart again.

I bought HP 63XL High Yield Black and HP 63XL Tri color High Yield for my Office Jet 5258 all in one printer. Since we are home bound due to the Covid-19 quarantine, my chances of getting out to an office supply store were slim. Especially since I am at the target age of 69 and have compromising conditions! After I ordered my ink I realized it was from California, I thought it would never arrive, due to all the mail delays and the fact that I live on the East coast. But to my surprise and delight, the ink came in a remarkably short amount of time. I have been very pleased with the product, especially because I can purchase a high yield cartridge. It seems like I was always running out of ink. I definitely will be purchasing my next set again through HP and would highly recommend anyone with an HP product to do as well.

The cartridges lasted longer than those that I bought in the stores. Maybe the store items were older? Also, I was able to get FREE shipping and it made my purchase cheaper than a store purchase.

I've been using an HP OfficeJet 3830 at home for a couple of years now, but have not done a lot of printing until now that I'm working from home. I had to order a new black cartridge and 1. I was impress with the speed of delivery and 2. I've been really pleased with how long the cartridge has lasted. I miss my laser printer at work, but I've found both my OfficeJet and the cartridges to be a solid, effective, and relatively inexpensive alternative at home.

I bought 4 black cartridges and 1 tri-color. When I put the first black one into the printer, it did not work. It was defective. Trying to contact Hp for a replacement has been a huge headache. there is no easy place on line telling me what to do and phone doesn't work. VERY BAD SUPPORT from this company. I am very disappointed and would like to return the defective cartridge for a refund but cannot figure out how to do that.

I bought an HP black ink cartridge and it performs as expected. No blobs or variation in print. I tried an ‘off brand’ to save money but it didn’t perform well at all, resulting in spending more money. Won’t do that again!

I do not use it for high resolution photos etc. My main use is to print the daily crossword from our local newspaper. My husband's vision is going, and he can work the crossword if I print it on two pages. I haven't printed in color much, if any, but the colors looked sharp on the test page. It would be nice if the unit was more compact.

This has been fulfilling my work needs, except that the scan feature is a bit glitchy. The problem is trying to scan from my iPhone, the printer isn’t always found. I just unplug and replug and that works, but is a minor inconvenience.

The price could have a very been cheaper!. The price has increased on many of jp products in the past three months. Walmart sells them for $45.00 per set..much cheaper, the same with Target and Sam's club they range about $48.00 to $55.00. Cheaper than buying them direct from HP sorry!

This is the first time I had to buy ink for my new printer. Installed the new cartridge and said to reinstall cartridge because it would not print went to help and done all steps it said to do, still would not print. went a bought a new cartridge and installed it works fine. Spoke to someone at HP he was no help at all. Now I have a 63XL cartridge that is no good that I paid $42 for and no way to get help from HP. This is the first time in years I have ever had a problem with HP.

I've always had good luck with HP wifi printers; have two of them actually. They work incredibly well, and I frequently use the scan and print functions. I have noticed that the ink never seems to last very long; we just replaced both our cartridges approximately 3 months ago, and we don't print a lot. So utilizing HP's website, I ordered more ink. A promotion was going on, so I got free next day delivery, awesome! I did notice that for these particular cartridges, there are 3 different "sizes". Now, the cartridges are all the same shape/size obviously, but HP sells them with different levels of ink in them. My issue is why? I would compare this to a restaurant giving you a large glass, then offering to fill it to various levels, and charging more for each level. If the cartridge can hold "x" quantity, fill it up, and sell it, simple.

The first black cartridge I had for my printer didn't last very long and ink isn't cheap! So when I replaced the black I searched for something that would last longer than 2 weeks. I was working from home like a lot of other people and I couldn't be running out of ink every other week. Happily this cartridge has proven to last much longer.

No Regular # 63 Cartridges Available -XL To $$$$$
Your ink is expensive compared to off-brands. I do think it is probably better quality. In addition, for over a year now for some reason, you have been unable to supply the Regular cartridges of # 63 ink. I really don't need the XL, because I don't need a lot of copies. I have had this XL ink dry up on me after several months, because I don't use much. I suggest you make an effort to get the Regular cartridges for customers like me, or reduce the price of the XL. I suppose you could offer the XL on a buy one get one free basis -LOL.

On my old printer I use to buy the recycled old filled ink cartridges but they never lasted long and always a problem, so when I got my new printer I went back and ordered the HP cartridges and oh so much better will only by the HP know. The only thing I miss is I use to be able to get the 2 pack, one black and one color and they do not have them anymore I really miss them would love it if they could come back.

Works well, but I use to get ongoing discounts to buy ink cartridges directly from HP since I've been a consumer of HP products over 15 years. Ink Cartridge works well.
I have used several of these cartridges, and they have always worked without trouble. As with all printers, the ink is grossly overpriced. To restate the old safety razor joke, "They give away the razors, and make up the profit on the blades." The Envy printer works well, the best printer I have ever owned.

Sometimes it does not pay to go cheap
I got some cheaper cartridges from ink farm and had them for a year and they dried up so no saving there. The Black cartridge did not fit, Going back to the original and they work every time.

Ink cartridge dries out.
I am an infrequent printer. The ink is fine when it is new. Before I can use it for a dozen or so pages, it will be dried out. Useless. So, while the quality is quite good, it is too expensive for an infrequent printing use.

Why doesn't HP make a standard cartridge that fits all HP printers instead of a half dozen or more for each printer. My old HP printer died but I had ordered new cartridges for it just before it quit working but they don't work in my new HP printer.

Ink is ink. Right? Wrong. Genuine HP ink keeps me running so much smoothly. The High Yield cartridge lasts so much longer than the others. But my favorite feature is the speed which the order arrived. And the return recycle package is just icing on the cake.

I stick with HP products, they never let me down.
I always order my 63XL black and color cartridges directly from HP. I tried another seller once because it was cheaper I thought. But they were refurbished HP cartridges and they did not last as long as promised, so it was more expensive and once they didn't even work when I installed them. So back to the HP online store to never experiment with others again. I also always order the high yield XL cartridges because they definitely last longer. I have also an HP printer and computer. HP is my brand because of the high quality and the online store is so convenient and if you sign up for an account you get discounts, too. I am a loyal and satisfied customer.

I had to replace my previous HP black ink because it would not print anything although it certainly felt in my hand as if there was at leas 10-15% of the ink in it. Rip off.

63XL Black is a reliably good product, an improvement over the smaller cartridge, but still too expensive given its limited capacity. A Instant ink subscription-based solution is not a great alternative . Volume based pricing would be preferable.

I have purchased two black ink cartridges for my H-P Printer and have been gravely disappointed with the output of both. The "high yield" cartridge is promoted as if it can produce 1000 pages of output but I received less than 50 before the machine showed an "empty" cartridge. I'd like to return the cartridge for a replacement, but I don't have any reason to expect a different result.

I have trouble with refurbished cartridges. Also the black ink is supposed to make around 430 some pages. This one didn't last very long at all and already had to order a new one. This one seemed to run out of ink much faster even though I have the printer set on draft so as not to use so much ink.

Ink Page Count Is Way Off
I have 2 HP printers snd the ink page count is totally incorrect. I don't even get 50 pages out of 1 cartridge of black ink. I'm thinking of getting rid of HP. The Tri-color is the same issue... Horrible!!

Overview of cartridge and delivery HP63XL
The cartridge doesn't seem to last long even with very little printing. Also, It took approximately 3-4 weeks to get the cartridge that I ordered. That is unacceptable. I am forced to get this cartridge from a local store

I stick with HP products, they never let me down.
I always order my 63XL black and color cartridges directly from HP. I tried another seller once because it was cheaper I thought. But they were refurbished HP cartridges and they did not last as long as promised, so it was more expensive and once they didn't even work when I installed them. So back to the HP online store to never experiment with others again. I also always order the high yield XL cartridges because they definitely last longer. I have also an HP printer and computer. HP is my brand because of the high quality and the online store is so convenient and if you sign up for an account you get discounts, too. I am a loyal and satisfied customer.

Terrible results
I really don’t want to give this even one star because we keep getting a message saying the cartridge is not the correct one for the printer. Plus the quality of the print that is produced is jumbled and smudged. All very confusing because the exact number of the cartridge is stamped on the printer and we have been using the same cartridges since the printer was installed.

Great Long-lasting Cartridges
I love your ink cartridges. My problem is, I ordered the wrong cartridge #. My printer uses 65XL, not 63XL. This is the 2nd time I've made this mistake so now I have printed a stick-um on the front stating "65XL only!" Thank GOD I had one correct cartridge on hand to use. I am a college student and expected to get more than 14 pages out of this ink cartridge. Only 14 pages were printed before the ink died. Horrible. The printer was cheaper than the ink cartridges. The temporary ink that came with the printer lasted longer than this cartridge.

Returned printer because ink too expensive.
Usually I only use my printer 3 or 4 times a year. Recently I had a project and needed to do a lot of printing so I purchased new ink cartridges. The color cartridge lasted for 12 pages. When it ran out, I switched to black only printing. As I printed a few more pages they got progressively more pink! They got so pink, I couldn’t read the typed words. I’m pretty much computer dumb, but when you select black, why would you get pink? So for $73 I was able to print 12 good pages! I returned my HP printer to Costco, but not before calling HP customer service. They were no help at all.

When replacing the cartridge you have to shut the printer down completely & re-start the program as it indicates it’s a generic cartridge and is not compatible with the machine. I bought one from Walmart & HP and they both indicated the same thing

HP Ink Never Lasts Long
Printer wants to align each time it is turned on. However, alignment is perfect and has been since aligning immediately after cartridge was replace. Printer doesn't have an option to say 'no' to realigning just 'yes' or 'later'. This is a good way to use excess ink and waste money on cartridges. Is this by design HP?

I paid top dollar for the non-generic captive ink. The reason I did this is that I didn't want any complications. When I installed the new ink I lost connection to my computer and am still trying to troubleshoot. Painful to my wallet and to my time.

Faulty ink cartridge
I ordered two 63xl ink cartridges. I put one of them in my printer, and my printer began printing fuzzy, illegible copies of whatever I was printing. I tried turning my printer off and back on multiple times. I printer black & white and color, many times. Finally I swapped out the new ink cartridge for another new one, and I didn’t have one problem. I guess one of the cartridges was just faulty??

I don't recall when HP sent me a refill cartridge because it has been a long time. My printer is not used very much. Your refill program may not be benefit me as it would someone who used their printer a great deal of the time. I will have to take a look at the usage of the printer and make a decision.

High yield is just that
Although I use a home computer, I do a lot of printing.. These high yield ink cartridges are great, reliable, good quality, worthwhile. I purchase two at a time, though it takes a LONG time to use up one cartridge.

The Way to Go
I've learned over the years that high yield is the only way to go. If you do any amount of printing, you'll be very disappointed using the smaller cartridges. It's easy to put in and lasts MUCH longer that the smaller size. I've also never had a problem with HP cartridges drying up and not working.

The Sales person sold me the wrong cartridge.
I was told to use to use the 63XL INK cartridge by the BEST BUY sales person by mistake. The printer I bought uses TONER cartridges. The printer I bought and have used less than a year no longer works anyway. Prod. # W1A80A, s/n MXBCMCD06G.

The easiest way to get the mundane done. The one in the printer runs out I put in my spare and order a new spare . A few days later a new spare shows up at my door. A couple of minutes out of my life, The alternative call or go to stores to find out they are OUT OF STOCK .Or my other time waster go on line to search for the fun surprises -Wrong product sent ,A refill sent as new , it never shows up and endless calls to get the charges removed or another product shipped . Like I said EASY PEASY place order, it shows up ,it is the right new factory product, use repeat .The mundane stays mundane..

Product was fine but web site did not have one helpful hint as to how to use it. I was a first time buyer of new ink for my printer but could not find the printer mentioned on your web site as to how to open it to place it in. I have a brand new 3830. Finally found something that came apart so I could get in there but space was small and hands athreptic so got it in caddywampus and had to wait two weeks for son-in-law to come to my rescue so was without printer a long time. would I recommend to a friend. Not the printer! Ink seems fine.

Ridiculously slow delivery. Took almost 2 weeks. Had to buy the same cartridge from Amazon while waiting. Amazon purchase showed up several days before HP. Would not recommend buying from HP until they improve delivery times. I'm assuming cartridge works, but I won't know until the Amazon cartridge runs out in a few months.

The cartridges provide optimal ink coverage and many printed pages. The advantage of purchasing the XL vs. the regular is that I don't have to spend time changing the cartridges and adjusting the print quality as often, which are important features to me.

I really appreciate the high yield ink for the HP printer. If I buy the regular I usually run out because I end up printing more than usual. This cartridge last a lot longer and I get all my bills printed out in a flash. It has the ink that dries fast and ready to pay. Thanks HP for designing the high yield ink!

Works fine like any other ink cartridge but when I removed the plastic seal before placing it in the printer, black ink went everywhere. On my clothes, hands, carpet, etc. Giant mess. Be careful when removing the plastic seal.

Ran out in less than 3 weeks!
I can't believe how quickly this ink cartridge ran out. I print on lowest quality to conserve ink, but it still ran out in less than 3 weeks. I am very disappointed, and upset that I spent so much money on so little ink! It did not last as many pages as it was supposed to.

This is the third model of HP printer that I have had. I love the all in ones but with this model the ink cartridges seem to use more ink faster than the others. Changing the settings can change the life of cartridge some but not that much.

I Like HP Products
I have a HP Pavilion Notebook computer and 4 HP printers. Even though 3 of the printers are getting old they still work great from the beatings from my grandchildren. All four printers use cartridge ink. Over the years I have found that HP ink can't be beaten. My computer really works well. My satisfaction with these products proves "Why I Like HP Products". All of this text sounds "corny", but it is true.

High yield black ink
I have been buying xl ink for all my printers. But with the 63xl does not seem to last as long with this new printer. I love being able to buy the 63xl but I have not found that with the HP service to purchase the ink tin the double pack. I really like being able to go online through HP and purchase the ink.

The cartridges (black and tricolor) never go completely empty before stops printing. In one year, I have spent more money on cartridges than the cost of the printer. Previously I had a laser jet and wish I did not switch printers.

I highly recommend the HP63XL High Yield Original Ink Cartridge. It produces distinct Black Print. The high yield means I do not have to order as often. I have tried generics with unsatisfactory results.

This is the 1st time I’ve EVER received a New Black Cartridge from HP that has been faulty. After printing just less than 80 pages, my printer is telling me that I’m low on Black Ink! Really? Its got to be a flook... but just my Luck. If it’s ever going to happen... It will ALWAYS happen to me! Thank God I ordered 2. I’m crossing my fingers that it won’t happen TWICE!

I always keep extra cartridges so I will not run out. I always buy HP cartridges so when I replaced my black, I was amazed at the notification that the cartridge was NOT COMPATIBLE. I re-inserted the cartridge numerous times with the same result. I had ordered new color and black cartridges and used one of the blacks. It was fine. DISAPOINTMENT
After about 40 copies my printer is giving a message saying ink is low. I have a brand new HP Office Jet 4650 so which is it. Defective cartridge or defective printer.

expensive! wasteful!
these tri-color cartridges are prone to running out of one of the colors making the cartridge unusable from that point forward. End up replacing it with another expensive cartridge and throwing away remaining ink I paid for.

I'm a retired person. I do not print much. I did print out some information for my niece on baby strollers, car seats and cribs from Consumer Reports. There isn't any way that I printed out 480 sheets of paper before I had to go to the store and get another cartridge. Now I'll go to Consumer Reports to see which printer I should have bought.

No Longer Buying HP Products
The ink causes an error message in the printer stating that it is incompatible, even though my printer is listed in the compatible list and HP recommended it for my printer model. No longer purchasing HP products, and am buying a new printer since this one is already having other issues with printing.

Worked for 2 Weeks
Printed about 20 pages and now the cartridges are unusable. The printer will not read them and keeps asking me to reinstall them, refuses to work, but when I put in the old (empty) cartridges it is perfectly happy.
Not sure what the fault is and am struggling to get ahold of customer service to get a refund.

I find that using XL cartridges work very well and gives a nice, sharp print. I print out a lot of handouts, especially handouts of PowerPoint slides. They turn out crisp and clean and clear. Great value for money!

Incompatibility Problem
I love HP products but this ink will not work in my Officejet 4650. I know I am not the only one with this issue. Just wish HP would fix the issue. I bought the color and black set, I have opened both and have thrown away the packaging because I was not expecting a problem. I would love to know if anyone has a fix for this problem.

I've bought probably 100 ink cartridges over the years from HP. This is the 1st time I've had trouble -- the last TWO times I have ordered! The first one went onto an old printer and so I thought it was the printer itself. But this one was for my 1-yr-old printer. There's no yellow! My orange comes out red. And when I try to print yellow highlight it comes out dashed with red/orange....again no yellow. Hmmm...somewhat discouraged at this new unexpected development with HP.

Previously I would buy HP cartridges from "Big Box" stores and, if they sat in my desk for a longer than average length of time, they would not perform as wall as I desired (due to partially frying out?). Now, I buy my HP cartridges directly from HP, sometimes pay less -but never more - and have NOT had a problem with their performance - no matter how long I keep them before use! I truly recommend them to anyone who buys more than 1 or 2 single cartridges at a time!

XL PRINT Count NOT ACCURATE
I just replaced my printer cartridge with an XL I just purchased which advertises it will print over 400 pages. I figured I would purchase this XL because I knew I had a lot of pages to print in the future and my old cartridge did not last very long. In the process of replacing the cartridge I discovered that the old cartridge was also an XL but unfortunately it printed less than 40 pages. I am hoping this new cartridge has made some improvements.

The HP box the 63XL cartridge came in says it will work with the 3830. However, when I installed it I got the error message: "indicated cartridges are not for use in this printer." The printer worked fine with the previous two basic 63 cartridge (the second one has run dry), and the two versions look identical. However, the printer rejects the cartridge. No matter how good the cartridge may be, if it will not work when installed it is useless. It appears I am out $33, because I cannot take back the cartridge and opened box to the store.
