Yes, like a lot of folks I have tried "after market" cartridges in the past. No more. Just snap out the old empty cartridge and snap in the new one. You might say that as long as the new cartridge works great, as it does, it is boring and that is good for using a printer when you need to print. No drama. Excellent!

It is the correct number and all other colors worked fine. The printer will not work even in black and white without this cartridge.

All three have great color, were easy to install, and hopefully they will deliver the longevity that HP advertises. By the way, these three XL cartridges are paired with the 950XL black cartridge, so I should be able to print for a long time!

I have been using their products for over 25 years. The cyan high yield is the best ink yet. It lasts a lot longer but still gives excellent printing & it doesnt smudge. Using the HP ink service is also very economical and fast. They provide overnight shipping and a deep discount. I highly recommend these products.

When I lived in the U.K., I bought a printer in a promotion. When I came to replace the ink cartridges, it cost nearly as much as the original printer with ink cartridges.

The printer distributes the ink evenly and is bold to represent our logo clearly. I don't keep a running count on how many pages we print? Just replace as needed to keep a clear print out.

That is until the print heads started to gum up. From what I understand the HP ink cartridges contain a head cleaning agent that keeps the print heads clean. You can clean the print heads sometimes and sometimes you cannot. In case you are wondering my printer has two print heads and it costs more to replace them than a new printer. So create an account with HP, wait for a 20% off offer, and get free next day shipping and the best ink cartridge you can buy.

As retirees, stuck on a fixed income, those ink prices strike a good noticeable dent on our Social Security pensions. They usually works flawlessly. They are just extremely expensive, prohibitively expensive if you are say a college student. I waited almost 2 weeks to get my ink cartridges from HP. I almost always buy them from Sams because of the discount price I get, but this time I still had the other colors and only needed Cyan. I ordered the cartridge on the 8th of Dec and it only arrived on the 18th. Never order from HP if you are out of ink or expect to run out soon. I like the product but ordering from HP was a ridiculously long wait. In the day when you can go to Sam or Walmart and get it today or order from Amazon and have it in hours, there is no excuse for slow service. It only takes one little thing to become the next WorldCom, Circuit City or Gateway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice quality, but overpriced I bought these 951xl supplies for my old non-InstantInk-compatible printer. I ended paying almost $120 for the whole set of 3 colors, but I thought it was worth the investment because the last set I bought lasted for 3 full years of intensive home printing, perfect quality all the time, really happy with them. However, a few days later I realized that I could have bought a new Instant Ink compatible printer, and enroll in the FREE subscription, for less than $100 bucks. I felt stupid... I think HP shouldn't promote throwing away usable old printers, and getting new ones because it's just cheaper. That's not green... and that's not taking care of loyal customers.

Costco had a 3 pack for $93.00 of the 3 colors I ordered : cayman, magenta and yellow. Also NY state tax would have been less. All in all I would have saved about $13.00. Aside from saving money, I am satisfied with the product and service

You enter the printer and it gives you inks that match that printer. Delivery was fast so as long as you order when you get the warning of low ink, you should not have an interruption in printing.

However, I am missing the "no-charge, overnight delivery" I always used for all these years. When I'm right in the middle of an important job I have to get out and my printer suddenly tells me my ink is low, I always immediately ordered and received the replacement I needed via "no-charge, overnight delivery" and never missed a deadline. Please, bring the overnight delivery back. Thank you.

And while most people can't see a difference in the ink quality from one manufacturer to another, the smarts are in the ink cartridge. Each little microscopic ink droplet is governed by the cartridge's interpretation of the input given to it. HP ink is the only way to go. I use the XL series for the largest number of print pages per cartridge.

Comes with a wrap to wrap as many old cartridges in for proper recycling to send in whenever you're ready.
