Leviton's patented "Retention Force Technology" has enhanced the physical performance and integrity of the connector. Increased wire retention in the connector reduces tine contact failure caused by cable stress and fatigue. In addition, its improved gas-tight connection at the IDC/premise wire interface between contact surfaces prevents corrosion.

This 8-position, 8-conductor Connector feature dual-color-coded wiring labels with both T568A and T568B wiring patterns, QuickPort compatibility, and a 110-style rear termination field for easy termination of a jack while installed in a wallplate or field-configurable panel.
