Does not fit 9th generation
I ordered this over a month ago for my 9th generation iPad and my iPad just came in today I try to put this on, and it does not fit. The front of the box says for 7th and 8th generation. I don’t know if I received the wrong item, or if It is a misrepresentation of the ability to fit a 9th. Either way I would not recommend!

Best purchase ever
Very happy I got this product, I don't have children but we never know, adults also drop things and I want the best protector for my iPad. I use it at work and you never know what is going to happen. Is very easy to install and I feel comfortable knowing that is protected. My 2 years old nephew has one and drop it all the time and nothing breaks so that's the reason I got one. I'm so please with this product.

Messes with Touch ID sensor
The case would be great, but it causes so many issues for me with the sensor. The Touch ID will randomly stop working and when I scroll or type my movements get repeated. Once I take the case off it’s fine.

The case is very good. I have bought this case maybe 6 times over the last few years for my iPads. I am upset that there is no built in screen protector anymore BUT it is still listed as being a part of the case. I need that piece for my disabled son's cases and assumed the case was still the same since the wording hadn't changed but it's not. I just bought 2 for $180 and they are not as described. That bothers me tremendously and I believe it is disingenuous by the company. I may need to start looking for other cases that have the protectors. I think the company should make it an option (even if it cost more) for those who are used to it and still want it! Otherwise very solid case that puts up with a lot of abuse.

I got a defender case for iPad 8th gen.and they sent me one with no screen protector.If you call they are closed.Using this terrible pandemic as an excuse not to answer there phone.there text support is useless.Don’t buy OtterBox at this point in time.

Great IPad case
I bought this case for my new iPad. I needed something to protect the iPad due to using it at work. It gets carried in a back pack all day and the otter box keeps it very protected. Best case I’ve ever had.

Bought te case for the iPad as I know it will be handle a bit rough. Needed something roughed and otter products are up to the task. I was expecting a cover for the glass but it didn’t had one that’s why it get a four stars, otherwise is a good investment

What else can I say? It’s an Otterbox, they are the best case available for any phone or tablet you may have. I have one on EVERY phone or IPAD in my family. There is simply nothing that beats it or the no questions asked warranty. You cannot go wrong with Otterbox.

Did the job!
Bought a defender for my 9thgen iPad used primarily for work. Dropped it one day and it did its job. Sacrificed itself. No damage to iPad and otterbox mailed me a new one in a few days. AWESOME

No more screen protector
I had a otter box defender for my old iPad and my son dropped it tons of times with no issues as it had a screen protector. First drop on this one and big old crack across the screen. Recommend if you purchase this you understand it has NO screen protection. The curved edges do not protect it enough to justify not having it.

Screen angle disappointment
OtterBox is the only thing we’ve ever purchased for all our Apple devices. I am disappointed that the angle of the iPad Air generation nine is considerably different than previous otter boxes.

Terrific cases 3rd time around.
This is my 3rd iPad and also 3rd Otterbox Defender. Love’em. Only problem is stiffness of the power switch and audio volume buttons. Just gotta hit them just right. I’m sure they will become easier to use with age.

Does not fit
This otterbox does not fit my ipad 9th generation I just purchased from Tmobile. This case is a joke. It not even the right size and I am very disappointed.
