What's misleading is that there are different connectors on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8" (2018 tablets that cause issues. There are some Tab A 8" 2018 tablets with a Micro USB connector - the carrier versions seem to be Micro USB. The WiFi only version of the Tab A 8" tablet has a USB C connector and works perfectly with this charging dock!
