Add a Centronics parallel port to your desktop or laptop PC through USB. The ICUSB128410 10 ft USB to Parallel Printer Adapter - M/M allows USB capable PCs to print to any standard parallel printer, converting a USB port into a Centronics (male) connector for direct connection to a parallel printer.
The USB interface provides a much faster data transfer rate than standard parallel ports, thereby reducing the time spent waiting for a print job or data transfer to be sent.
A portable, space-saving solution, the USB to Parallel Printer Adapter is self-powered and provides Plug and Play installation on Windows based, USB-compliant computers.

Rated 5 out of 5 bycherie from So easy; Laser Jet 4 wiith Windows 8.1Attached the cable to my Laser Jet 4 printer, then to the computer, then turned on the printer, sent a document to the printer - and it printed. It took about 2 minutes to set up and it works perfectly. I love this cable; I don't have to purchase a new Laser printer now!

Rated 5 out of 5 bynoname from It workedI bought a new computer without serial or parallel ports. I had a LaserJet 5p that still works very well, but was built before USB ports. The cable and the technical support from StarTech and Dell let me keep my printer with the new computer.
