Rated 5 out of 5 bymarco63 from Compact unit does the jobOverall this has been a reliable unit for recharging appliances on the many camping trips I take. The highlights are its compact size and light weight. I didn't give it five stars because there are a couple of items I'd like to see addressed in future inverter designs. The 3-prong outlets are too close together for a variety of appliances that have the clunky square boxes at the end of their recharging cords. I'd also like to see Tripp sell a wiring kit for this for connection to a 12-volt car battery. Not sure if they have since I purchased mine but I ended up having to head down to my local auto parts store to complete the system. Still these are minor given the reliability this unit has provided.

Rated 5 out of 5 bylimelee from PV700HF Mounted in Work TruckThe PV700HF is mounted on the front lower portion of my work truck dash connected through my 12 volt cigarette lighter power outlet. I rely on this inverter to keep a number of electronic devices charged for use at remote locations in Nevada. I also connect with an extension cord in the field when I have longer periods of use. The inverter has been with me to many rugged locations and has never had any problems. I have have gone through several cheaper inverters that just did not hold up under the conditions I routinely find myself in while performing my work as a hydrographer .

Rated 5 out of 5 byChris from Doesn't work with ps4I have had this product in my company fleet vehicle for about 8 months now. It is reliable and keeps my laptop and cell phone charged. I tried to run a TV and ps4 off of it today and it wouldn't support my ps4. It would turn on but as soon as I tried to start a game, it shut off. Overall, a good product but I wish my ps4 worked with the inverter.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBob from I would do something different. While it does the job, the fact that the cooling fan runs incessantly-whether in use or not, is annoying. I have installed the inverter permanently in the cargo bay of a service van, and the constant buzzing of the cooling fan is crazy, especially when nothing is plugged in. So far it hasn't caused any battery performance issues-i.e. discharged battery, but I can only expect that eventually it will discharge to the point that the battery will not start the vehicle. The pluses are that is is small, and it does the job. However, the next inverter will have a remote power switch so I can turn the thing off, and therefore quiet the fan.
