The PDUMV40 provides an efficient and manageable power distribution solution for multiple servers with dual redundant power supplies, or any other application that requires numerous outlets, high capacity, and a compact form factor. Dual input current monitoring display shows AC power consumption for each independent circuit. Switchless design eliminates accidental shutoff of connected equipment. Unfiltered electrical pass-through without a power switch makes the PDUMV40 ideal for distributing alternate waveform UPS or generator power in rack enclosures, network closets, and more. Each of two independent circuits supports 16 outlets and equipment loads up to 2, 400 watts - 32 outlets and 4, 800 watts total capacity without consuming additional rack space.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBlakeGIX from Great option for powerWe recently got a server rack and have been starting to update and move servers into it. We needed a way to power everything and a way to meter the power usage. This gave us plenty of outlets with the 2 circuits and a way to monitor each circuit independently. The cord length is plenty long enough to reach outlets outside of the rack until we got a new rack-mounted UPS.

Rated 5 out of 5 byharryhendo from Flexible vertical mounted PDU with two circuitsThis PDU has two power cords. We use one to go to "house" or utility power, and the other to go to UPS power. We connect one power supply of a server to a black receptacle on this PDU (for house power), and one power supply of a server to a white receptacle on this PDU. This allows us to use both house and UPS power on a single vertical PDU. NICE!!! The PDU rack mounts in a standard rack with buttons on the back. The only thing I would change would be the strength of the PDU itself, as it tends to flex a bit when you are plugging in cords.
