Know your gear
The APSRM4 Remote Control Module lets you monitor and control your Tripp Lite PowerVerter inverter (PV-Series) or inverter/charger (RV-, APS- and EMS-Series) from up to 15.24 m (50-ft.) away. Ideal for automotive, remote site, industrial, commercial and residential applications, the APSRM4 mounts easily in a variety of locations and configurations, including below a dashboard, so you can control your inverter or inverter/charger from the comfort of your vehicle.
Monitor battery charge level and the connected inverter’s mode at a glance via the front-panel LEDs. The compact, heavy-duty all-metal housing also includes a convenient switch that lets you toggle between inverter and charger modes. A master override port enables automatic shutdown under various conditions, such as when the vehicle’s ignition is on or off, the battery is disconnected or water is encroaching.
Built-in mounting slots and a 15.24 m (50-ft.) cable provide plenty of flexibility in mounting and operating the APSRM4. You can even daisy-chain multiple units to connect to a single inverter or inverter/charger. A faceplate is included for front-panel mounting in an RV, boat or other vehicle.

Rated 5 out of 5 byRoad scholar from Excellent product & easy installationI find this product reliable and really helps prevent inadvertant battery drain. It was very easy to install & is NOT an eyesore. My only problem is that I'm not really conversant with electronic terminology, which may be why the instructions and settings are confusing to me. Every time I need to use it, I need to refer to the instrux to make sure I'm not doing the opposite of what I want to do. The labels on the unit have very small print, so I've had to tape a copy of the instrux next to the unit for reference. Because of my lack of expertise, understanding these is a bit harder than I would like and often I have to read them multiple times to make sure I understand what they mean. All in all, this pales in comparison to the service it provides. (PS-make sure the cable doesn't have too much tension applied to it or its connector clip can be pulled out making it inoperable. I check this regularly.)

Rated 5 out of 5 byJBROWN from Nice product!Very easy to install! The inverter was installed behind the drivers seat in a company vehicle. Had to move seat each time to turn inverter on. With the new module, I was able to install the turn on switch in an easily accessable and viewable location. Now I can turn my inverter on with a swith and constantly monitor the battery charge and load levels.

Rated 5 out of 5 bychuck from Awesome remote. A must have. This is a must have if you have a new inverter. You can control anything that is hooked to it remotely. Works awesome in a vehicle / commercial application. You can remove larger metal bracket and cut small hole in dash and attach with the 2 screws( if you have room behind panel). Would like to see them make more of a dash mountable remote unit so it would look a little bit more professional.

Rated 5 out of 5 byButch from Wrong purchase for meIn my Roadtrek, this not only does not do what I wanted to do, but actually set me back in terms of capabilities. Because it is connected, my inverter switch no longer works. Plus it does not give me the ability to reset my Tripp Lite charger controller as I had hoped.
