Joe Simone

Joe Simone is senior vice president of education for CDW Government (CDW-G), a wholly-owned subsidiary of CDW and a leading provider of technology solutions to government, education and healthcare customers. Simone is responsible for managing all aspects of the sales team serving our higher education and K-12 customers including short- and long-term performance, strategic direction, business initiatives and coworker development.

Simone joined the company in 2002 as an account manager and has since served in several sales leadership positions of increasing responsibility within CDW-G. He served as a SLED academy sales manager, a K-12 sales manager and most recently as director of education where he led K-12 east sales and had overall US responsibility for education field sales and business development. In 2019, Simone was appointed vice president, education and served in that capacity until being promoted to his current role in 2025.

Simone earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Iowa.
