Empowering Our Communities

In 2023, CDW invested more than $1.1 million in 70 nonprofit partners.
CDW provides technology, volunteerism and funding to bridge the digital divide and reduce e-waste through the refurbishment and distribution of gently used, donated computers.
CDW serves as a host site partner for All Star Code's Summer Intensive Program, which prepares young men of color for the future of work. With a focus on computer science exposure, the program cultivates an entrepreneurial brotherhood and develops a talent pipeline to help close the racial opportunity gap in the tech industry.
CDW coworkers across the U.S. support Per Scholas through board membership and volunteerism to provide rigorous, no-cost training for tech careers and connect skilled talent to leading businesses.
With the support of CDW, Out in Tech, the world’s largest nonprofit community of LGBTQ+ tech leaders, brings together more than 40,000 individuals to create opportunities for members to advance their careers, grow their networks, and leverage tech for social change.

Engaging Our Coworkers
We engage and empower our coworkers to support the causes that matter most to them. Eligible coworkers receive eight hours of paid time off each year for volunteer work. Through our Matching Charitable Gifts Program, CDW also doubles the impact of coworkers’ charitable donations to eligible nonprofits.

INDIA
SMILES Program
CDW coworkers in Chennai, India, celebrated the 10th anniversary of SMILES, an impactful CSR initiative to support underprivileged children and communities. CDW welcomed 60+ children from care homes to the office, where they engaged in a day of art, laughter and community building.
