How can a VR integration be streamlined and secure?
A REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
Protecting Financial Data With a Unified VR Environment
A student loan servicer uses VR to help educate borrowers about the loan process, incorporating highly sensitive financial and personal information. The company needed a secure, unified VR environment to improve its ability to monitor events and be better prepared for audits.
THE TURNING POINT
Capturing Integration Data for Consolidated Reporting
The company worked with CDW to clean its content management database and prepare its ServiceNow environment for VR integrations. CDW then supported the company’s transition to ServiceNow as a single source of truth, enabling the platform to capture integration data effectively and support consolidated reporting.
During the transition, CDW implemented:
- Qualys Web Application and 2 Wiz.IO store integrations covering infrastructure, application vulnerability response and container vulnerability response
- An exception process within ServiceNow following the company’s current processes for uniformity
THE RESULTS
Accelerated Remediation With Reduced Security Risks
The loan provider can now maintain its VR services with greater efficiency and improved security.
Here’s why it worked:
- VR integrations in the ServiceNow environment saved teams time by reducing the need for manual assignment
- Utilizing VR assignment rules accelerated remediation and minimized human error to reduce security risks
- The company’s longtime partnership with CDW enabled a holistic view and intimate understanding of its VR environment
What’s next?
CDW continues to work closely with the company, executing along a strategic roadmap to help consolidate reporting and fulfillment under one VR platform.
