WRITE IT SWEEPSTAKES RULES
THE FOLLOWING SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (“D.C.”) ONLY. DO NOT ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES IF YOU ARE NOT A LEGAL RESIDENT OF, AND CURRENTLY LOCATED IN, ONE OF THE 50 UNITED STATES OR D.C. AT THE TIME OF ENTRY.
ALL ENTRANTS MUST HAVE A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING A PRIZE.
1. Sweepstakes Overview:
The CDW “Write IT” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) sponsored by CDW LLC (“Sponsor”) invites eligible individuals (see full eligibility requirements in Rule 3, below) to write online product reviews during the Sweepstakes Period (as defined in Rule 2, below) on http://www.cdw.com (the “Web Site”). Each review must relate to a product that was purchased by a person (whether the reviewer or someone else) or department in your workplace prior to the start date of the entry period in which the review is submitted. Each eligible review published to the Web Site will earn you one (1) entry in a quarterly random prize drawing (“Quarterly Drawing”) that corresponds to the date on which your review is published. A total of four (4) Quarterly Drawings will be conducted; twelve (12) prizes will be awarded in each Drawing. (See the rules that follow for details regarding Quarterly Drawing dates, corresponding entry periods, and prizes.)
All reviews submitted are subject to CDW’s Customer ratings and reviews terms and conditions available here. Please familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions prior to submitting a review. Any review that is not in compliance with such terms and conditions, or that Sponsor deems indecent or inappropriate in any way, will be disqualified and will not earn you an entry into the Sweepstakes.
You will receive one (1) entry for each published review you submit for a specific product. If you or any member of your workplace, submit multiple reviews of the same product, you will earn one (1) entry only (for the first such review submitted). “SPAM” or fraudulent reviews will not be published. All entries from users submitting SPAM or fraudulent reviews will be void, and such users will be disqualified from participating in the Sweepstakes.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and its moderators, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
2. Sweepstakes Period:
The Sweepstakes begins on 1/10/2024 at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) and ends on 12/31/2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. CT (the “Sweepstakes Period”). During the Sweepstakes Period, there will be four (4) separate entry periods, each corresponding to a Quarterly Drawing. (See chart in Rule 8, below, for entry periods and drawing dates.)
3. Eligibility:
Participation in the Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. who are eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 or older if a resident of Alabama or Nebraska) at the time of entry.
The following persons are NOT eligible to participate: (a) Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, StudioNorth, Inc., TurnTo Networks, Inc., their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, anyone involved in the creation, execution or fulfillment of this Sweepstakes, anyone employed by a company whose products are sold by Sponsor, and members of the immediate families (defined as spouse, biological, adoptive and step-parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, siblings, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or households (whether related or not) of any of the above: and (b) employees of federal, state and local governmental entities.
The Sweepstakes is void outside the 50 United States/D.C. and where prohibited.
4. General Entry Information/Conditions:
(A) All entries become Sponsor’s property and will not be returned. Entries made by any other individual or entity that is not named on the submitted entry, including but not limited to a third-party entry service, or made in any manner inconsistent with these Official Rules, will be declared invalid and disqualified from this Sweepstakes. All incomplete or non-conforming entries will be disqualified. Proof of submission of an entry will not be deemed proof of receipt by Sponsor or its agents.
(B) There may be only one (1) named participant for each entry submitted, regardless of the number of persons who may have contributed to the creation of the review.
(C) The content of reviews will have no influence on the selection of winners; winners will be selected at random as described herein.
(D) The computer clock of Sponsor’s webmaster is the official timekeeping device of the Sweepstakes.
(E) Participants are solely responsible for Internet connectivity, software and/or hardware that may be required in order to write and/or submit a product review.
5. Quarterly Drawings and Entry Periods:
For each quarter of the Sweepstakes Period, a random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor’s representatives from among all entries generated by valid, eligible reviews during the entry period immediately prior to each drawing. (See chart below for list of Drawing dates and entry periods for each.) Twelve (12) winners will be selected in each drawing, for a total of forty-eight (48) prize winners.
Non-winning entries from one quarter will not roll over into subsequent quarter’s drawings.

Note: Each entry period noted above begins at 12:00:01 a.m. CT on the indicated start date and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on the indicated end date.
6. Quarterly Prizes:
Each quarterly prize will consist of the following:
A $100 VISA Incentive Card
Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $100 per prize package.
Limit one (1) quarterly prize per person/workplace per quarter for the entire Sweepstakes Period.
7. Odds of Winning:
The odds of winning a quarterly prize are dependent upon the total number of eligible reviews received and published in accordance with these Official Rules in the entry period corresponding to each Quarterly Drawing. The total ARV of all prizes in this Sweepstakes: $4,800.
8. General Prize Conditions:
Each potential winner is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules as a condition of receiving a prize.
The prizes consist only of the items described above. Any other related expenses and costs (if any) not expressly listed above as being included with a prize are solely the responsibility of the prize winner.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be offered for sale or at auction. No prize substitutions or cash redemptions allowed, in whole or in part, except as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) of equal or greater value if the advertised prize (or portion thereof) becomes unavailable.
Each winner will be responsible for payment of all federal, state and local income taxes on his/her prize. Any difference between the stated ARV and the actual value of a prize, if any, will not be awarded.
All prizes will be awarded provided they are claimed properly in accordance with these Official Rules. Sponsor makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the prizes. The only applicable warranties provided with the prizes are those warranties which may be provided by the manufacturers. If any prize is defective at time of delivery to winner, winner’s sole remedy will be to address the issue with the manufacturer for return, repair, replacement, refund, or other such remedy as winner and manufacturer may agree upon. By accepting a prize, each winner consents to Sponsor’s use of his/her name, voice, statements, photograph, taped or film image, and/or other likeness for advertising, Sweepstakes, public relations or trade purposes in commerce and in any media worldwide without limitation or additional compensation or notice, unless prohibited by law.
9. Notification of Winners/Prize Claim Process:
Winners will be notified by email, telephone and/or postal mail. Sponsor reserves the right to require any winner to provide proof of eligibility in any form Sponsor deems appropriate. Prizes will be shipped approximately four weeks following each drawing. If any prize is not claimed in accordance with these Official Rules, or if any prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if any winner refuses or fails to accept his/her prize, or if any potential winner is deemed ineligible for any reason, the corresponding prize will be forfeited. If a prize is forfeited, it will be awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing from among the remaining entries in the applicable drawing pool.
10. Liability Disclaimers:
The Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) electronic transmissions or reviews that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, destroyed, misdirected or not received by Sponsor or its agents for any reason; (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of reviews, or for destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, reviews or their related entries; (iii) failed or unavailable hardware, network or, software transmissions, damage to participants’ or any person’s computer and/or its contents, or causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes; (iv) any reviews submitted in a manner that is not expressly allowed under these Official Rules; all such reviews will be disqualified; (v) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by participants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (vi) any typographical or other error in any printing or advertising related to the Sweepstakes, administration or execution of the Sweepstakes, or in the announcement of the winners; or (vii) cheating or fraud by any participant. All incomplete or non-conforming reviews will be disqualified.
By participating in this Sweepstakes, each participant agrees to indemnify, release, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor, StudioNorth, Inc., TurnTo Networks, Inc., their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries and agents, and the officers, directors, and employees of each of the foregoing, from and against any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to persons or property arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession and/or use/misuse of a prize (if awarded to him/her).
11. Tampering/Early Termination:
If for any reason this Sweepstakes cannot be executed as planned, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, or if this Sweepstakes is compromised or becomes corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate this Sweepstakes. If this Sweepstakes is terminated before the original end date of the Sweepstakes Period, the Sponsor will select the winners for the next-scheduled Quarterly Drawing in a random drawing from among all eligible entries generated by valid reviews received during the applicable entry period as of the termination time and date. Thereafter, no further Quarterly Drawings will be conducted and no further quarterly prizes will be awarded.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify and prosecute any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or any aspect of this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEB SITE OR OTHERWISE CORRUPT OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY, PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Disputes/Governing Law:
By participating, entrants agree that (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate state or federal court located in Lake County, Illinois; (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including but not limited to costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) to the extent allowed by applicable law, under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and/or consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participants’ rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of Illinois or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Illinois.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
13. Winners List:
For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: CDW Write IT Sweepstakes Winners, C/O Kelli Finn, 200 N. Milwaukee Ave., Vernon Hills, IL 60061. Requests must be received by 12/31/2024.

This Sweepstakes is sponsored solely by CDW LLC, 200 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Vernon Hills, Illinois 60061.
NOTICE OF COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT
(A) The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) provides recourse to copyright owners who believe that their rights under the United States Copyright Act have been infringed by acts of third parties over the Internet. If you believe that your copyrighted work or that of another on whose behalf you are authorized to act has been copied without your authorization and is available on or in our website or Sweepstakes in a way that may constitute copyright infringement, you may provide notice of your claim to CDW’s Designated Agent listed below. For your notice to be effective, it must include the following information: (1) A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed (the “Complaining Party”); (2) A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed upon; (3) A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on or in our web site or Sweepstakes; (4) Information reasonably sufficient to permit CDW’s Designated Agent to contact the Complaining Party, such as address, telephone number and, if available, an e-mail address at which the Complaining Party may be contacted; (5) A statement by you that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and (6) A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the Complaining Party.

(C) CDW will follow the procedures provided in the DMCA, which prescribe a notice and takedown procedure, subject to the webmaster’s right to submit a counter-notification claiming lawful use of the disabled works.
(D) You should be aware that, under the DMCA, claimants who make misrepresentations concerning copyright infringement may be liable for damages incurred as a result of the removal or blocking of the material, court costs and attorney’s fees.
(E) CDW has discretion to handle non-compliant notices in whatever manner appears to be reasonable given the circumstances presented.
