Glue does not hold
Package says holds 10lbs, back of package says 6lbs and only says 2lbs. Held pressure on a clean plastic surface for 60 seconds and waited 10 min before trying to remove and the glue pealed right off. Velcro is strong but glue is worthless. Used similar products from 3m in the past with great results but the glue on this product is not worth it.

Velcro Straps
3M sent me this Item free to evaluate. We Drag Race. We use tarps alot, by using these Velcro Straps we can cover our car and equipment and the wind doesn't carry them away and everything stays dry.

Great item for multiuse
These Fasteners worked really great and were secure. I used them for a variety of different purposes and they held up to the task. I was pleasantly surprised.

Very strong!
I was given a free sample of this to try.
I expected heavy duty velcro, but it isn't like velcro at all. It does snap together but you have to get it lined up exactly right. Unlike velcro if it is at an angle or not exactly straight it won't snap together.
On the other hand, once it snaps together it has an extremely strong hold and works in outdoor conditions including wet conditions.

Love this stuff!
I love this stuff! It is heavy duty! I am trying to figure out more uses with it because I love it. The grip it has is great it is a very strong plastic like Velcro that really grabs tight. I will continue to buy this fastener!

I received this as a free sample from 3M.
I had something I needed attached to the interior of my car, but need to be able to remove it occasionally. I live in SC, and park outdoors, so the car interior can get pretty hot. So far, the Extreme Fastener is working well. Easy to mount, and the 'clicking' action lets me know my item is secure.

Works For Pool Equipment
Command sent us this product to try for free and do we ever appreciate it. My husband uses this product for hanging all the pool equipment on the side of our wood outdoor shed. Keeps everything where we can get to it instead of all over the place. Stays attached even in the wind. Great product.

3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. Found a great use, had a plant on a shelf in windy Nebraska, used Extreme Fasteners and the plant has stayed put, even had a big windy storm.

Super Strong "Durable" Hold!
I received this product free from 3M and decided to use it to help hold down a rug that lays over some cords that run along the floor. The rug helps to keep us from tripping, but because of the cords ability to move, the rug moves as well. I used the Velcro to fasten down the rug and cord about 2 months ago, and have found it to be working wonderful, no matter the traffic!

Great product
I was given this to sample and write a review. I used it to hold my pressure washer hose together. Worked great. The hose is rolled up nice and neat. They are heavy duty and it holds things together very well.

Strong adhesive!
The adhesive on this product is very strong. I have used it to hold the edges of carpet to floor successfully and also to mount fabric to a flat surface. I would consider this to be some what permanent for mounting - the adhesive is so strong that it will likely pull the finish off anything it is adhered to. I imagine you could use heat and solvents to remove it, if needed.

Great Stuff

Works Great!
I had a problem with a rug sticking to a step for the dogs doggy door.. Everything came loose.. This sticks great! No more problems and I can still take off and wash it! Didn't put in the dryer but it held up well threw the wash! Great Product!

Really holds!
I was able to stick this to picture frames and it's held up very well. I also like that it's one type of Velcro for both sides, so you don't run out of either side.

Tough Hold
This item was a sample to review provided free for my perusal. It is very tough and just right for holding outside fixtures as it is weatherproof as well. I let my daughter use part of this length to hold the corners to the truck bed cover. The other we used to help hold a cover on a parked vehicle that was continually blowing off.

Didn't work...
I bought the fasteners to secure (Flat mount a 300w power converter to the center console of my work truck. Cleaned the receiving sites as instructions stated using rubbing alcohol, let it dry before attaching the fasteners, fasteners attached to the converter but would not adhere to the vehicle's vinyl. Very disappointed..... Would not even give this a one star....

I tried these fasteners to hold a small (3 X 2) area rug in place in my entry way. (My dogs moved the rug around every time the mailman came or the wind blew, and I needed a solution.) I used the fasteners on the finished hardwood floors. They just weren't strong enough for that level of dog activity. However, I was able to get them off the floors without damage by using WD40. (I soaked them in it and then used a Scotch Brite sponge on the liner). So, I would not recommend these for my use, but they are probably good for a different use. If you want to remove them, try WD40 (olive oil might work too).

A Fastening Challenge
I ordered an Apple shelf that was suppose to fasten to the top of my refrigerator and hang down the side. However, the strips that were included only held the shelf up for one day. I went shopping and found Scotch Brand, Heavy Duty Fasteners. The fasteners had one piece that stuck to the top of my refrigerator and the other piece stuck to the bar of my shelf. I used two pieces, one for each side. I am so pleased with Scotch Brand Heavy Duty Fasteners because they are still holding my shelf up. It has been hanging there for almost a year . Loving the Fasteners
We have an older house with plaster walls, which makes hanging frames interesting as the older plaster crumbles inside. So when I wanted to hang some new frames, my mother in law recommended trying the Scotch Fasteners...and we have loved them ever since.

Waste of money
I bought this to affix a hook to my balcony wall to hang a hummingbird feeder. The total weight of the hook and feeder was under 2lbs. It wouldn't hold for more than ten seconds
