One of, if not the best mount
I am an AV installer. I have hung hundreds of projectors over the years with many different types and styles of mounts. The RPMAU from Chief is one of the best ones I have ever used. unlike other brands, Chief seems to engineer their stuff for guys like me in the field. This is a professional product. The new roll, pitch, yaw design is AMAZING! It makes removal for maintenance a breeze with the quick release arms.
The only down side is since it is a locking unit, the slide tends to stick right out of the box but a good tap frees it right up! Milestone (Chief MFG parent company) is a dealer protected company so if you have issues (I never have in 8 years) you have to go through who you bought it from. I recommend this to anyone who wants a solid mount that will last. The first one takes a second to figure out since it comes with all the hardware for any type of possible application but read the instructions (completely) and you wont have any issues (and the ones after that will take around 5 min to install.) If you don't use the security screws you can install the whole thing with one #2 Phillips screwdriver (and even if you do use them, it comes with the security hex key.)

Poor Instructions, Terrible Customer Service, Defective Product
I strongly discourage anyone from buying a ceiling projector mount from Chief. My experience involves a defective product, poor installation instructions horrible customer service and a company that will not stand behind their products. Read below for details.
I bought an RPMA ceiling projector mount in November of 2015. I receiver the mount, opened the product and was immediately underwhelmed with the instructions, the worst I have ever seen (and I'm not the only check the other reviews, there are many that reference poor instructions). During the installation (without the help of the instruction) I determined that bottom plate of the mount was jammed and would not lock the project in place, causing a safety hazard. I attempted to fix the product myself (by applying lubricant to the plate) but could not free the plates from one another.
I contacted Chief's technical service personnel in the hope that they could remedy the problem. I called technical service, explained my situation and met stiff resistance. I was informed that I must go through the retailer I bought the product through. The retailer would then have to contact Chief, who would then sent a repair authorization to the retailer. After receiver the repair authorization from Chief, the retailer could then ship the product back to Chief. Chief would then review the product and determine if they could do anything to solve problem. All of this red tape would add a couple weeks of possible repair time. I offered to take pictures of the invoice and product as well as ship the product to Chief to cut out the middle man and speed up the process, but I was firmly rebuffed. After my office to speed the process, the technical service technician then told me that even if I follow the process my warranty claim will be denied because I attempted to fix the product myself. I asked the technician what I should have done and he informed me that the correct path would have been to review the product immediately after I open it and if I suspected any defects I should have immediately contacted technical support. I was shocked. You'd think Chief would be grateful that an customer would attempt to fix a defective product rather than call technical service with every minor detail (maybe Technical service is just lonely and needs someone to talk to. And considering how poor the instructions are I assume they get plenty of calls as it is).
In the end I'm stuck with terrible instructions, a defective product and a company unwilling to stand behind their product. I cannot dissuade any from buying any products form Chief. I ended up buying a another company's mount, which was cheaper and actually worked, a win-win for me.. I just wish I would have never bought the Chief mount in the first place.
