A compact UPS with standby topology, the CyberPower Ecologic EC850LCD provides battery backup (using simulated sine wave output) and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems. During power interruptions, the EC850LCD offers reliable power protection and battery backup. When the battery backup detects that the computer is off or in sleep mode, computer peripherals connected to the ECO Mode, surge protected outlets will be automatically turned off, reducing power usage and lowering energy costs (USB connection required). The multifunction LCD provides immediate, detailed information about the UPS battery and power conditions and generates alerts of potential problems before they can affect critical equipment and cause downtime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Desktop UPSthis unit is my go to for desktops around the office. good number of plugs, and powerful enough for the PC, Speakers, 2 monitors and a VoIP phone (if you don't use PoE). it also has a LED readout to show stats, line power, and runtime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just about what I have come to expect from APS.recepticals are spaced out to allow 12 volt adapter plugs to go side by side.Could not carry my HP LaserJet M605 Printer and computer together.Bought three together and all 3 worked without any issues. Pulled the plug out of the wall and everything stayed on long enough for me to save my work and shut down the computer for a normal shut down.
