8 yr-old Dell wired mouse 'suddenly' died and needed replacement.
PROs:
-- Shipped day after ordered; received 2 days after that (received 7 weeks ago.
-- Inexpensive
-- Plugged it in; Win10 Home immediately recognized it.
CONs:
-- Tactile feel of mouse wheel is disappointing. Doesn't have the familiar 'notched' tactile feel as you roll the wheel forward & backward. Instead, there are VERY 'soft' & barely noticeable tactile 'bumps'.
Conclusion:
OK for the price. Does what it's supposed to do. Will see how long it lasts.

My old mouse would not left click. I thought it was a hardware problem. None of the tips that techs offered worked so I thought to just maybe buy a new mouse instead of the whole new computer system I was encouraged by some to do. This new mouse was "the fix" and I am very happy. Nothing wrong with my old computer; just needed to replace the mouse!

Good mouse for its price
I have been using it for about one month now, carrying it from one place to another, and still there is no problem in sight. I mean, it's not the greatest mouse by all means. But it costs about 20 $, it's light enough and does what it's supposed to do. For those wondering, I'm the claw grip type, and I have no problem handling it.

This is my second Dell MS116 mouse. I'm not a gamer, but I work in the technology field. I have used dozens of expensive Logitech mice in the past, only to be repeatedly disappointed with them. They broke constantly, some within just a few weeks of use. So, two years ago, I purchased this model Dell mouse. A simple and inexpensive (about $20) mouse that just works! It's comfortable to my hand and just works. Really nothing else to say to describe it. I bought a second one for another computer. This is my mouse of choice going forward. No need to buy anything else.

This new mouse fixed every online and offline problem I'd been having - from completely unregistered clicks to repeated failure in Word features like highlighting, bold print, and especially the 'Save' feature. I am surprised that none of the online 'fixes' for these problems even mentioned replacing the mouse - especially at the very reasonable Dell price - and I received it in just 3 days! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the pointer of the mouse has to be extremely precise or it won't work at all; it's frustrating but something I expect I'll get used to.

Replacement mouse works wonderfully
After over six years of high quality performance, my original wired mouse started operating unreliably. When I wanted to copy and paste, I sometimes had to repeat actions to copy the desired sections. My new Dell wired mouse operates as well as my original mouse ever did. My expectations were exceeded!

It isn't very good. It sometimes works and other times it doesn't. I have to use the mouse

Mediocre at best. Not very precise or quick. You click on an item and it connects with something next to it, and you may have to click on an item more than once.

jumpy mouse after a couple of month
The wheel issue; the mouse move on the screen was jumpy and contacted Dell customer service; they asked me to fill out some forms which required a complex number which I could not find on the mouse. Could not get help from them

Good mouse
I don't like using a touchpad on my laptop. I just got used to using a mouse. My old mouse stooped working. Got this one quickly to replace it. It works quite well. It is a basic three button mouse. Nothing fancy. It works well enough that I bought another one just like it. I've only had the one for a month, so durability is somewhat unknown,

Comfortable Mouse
The Dell mouse is very comfortable for use with my large hands. The position of the wheel is perfectly placed for my finger. The only negative thing is the left and right click buttons are a little bit stiff especially for people like me with arthritis. I wish they had a softer touch; not requiring as much pressure.
