I haven't used a mouse (or a Dell) in many years, and I could have used a bit more in the way of instructions. I mean--on/off? the plug-in? I found the mouse somewhat skittish at first, w more freezes than I expected, but we've called a truce.

The mouse is easy to connect. Plug the receiver into any computer USB port and you are up and running. The mouse works well on all the surfaces I have used so far, desk, mouse pad, conference room table. Light and portable, which is good for business travel with my laptop.

This mouse is junk. Supplied battery lasted 2 hours and was dead. Functions of mouse quit responding after one use. Bought a Logitech for half of what this cost and it works great.

Totally frustrating. Arrow kept disappearing as I moved through the page. Put the wireless mouse back in the box and reconnected my old wired mouse. Also, hate having to turn it on and off with each use.

The top of the mouse is held on by a tabs and a decent magnet. This makes it nice and easy to change out the battery and grab the dongle. The magnet is strong enough to hold the top on even when jostled around but not so strong that the top is difficult to remove. It installed like any other mouse and operates smoothly.

I purchased a brand new Dell computer and my old wireless mouse would not work with it so I called Dell support who thought I should have a Dell wireless mouse so I bought one of theirs and the Dell mouse will not work with my brand new Dell computer.

The mouse feels great in my hand and is very smooth to use. It's responsive in all of the right ways. It worked great for the first week and then stopped working consistently. I had placed a battery in that was not the one sent with it. I believe that was the cause of the challenge. I've replaced the battery with the one Dell sent and it's working great again.

Regarding this Dell Wireless Mouse-WM126, if I would have known before just how great this wireless mouse is, I would have bought it a very long time ago.
There are many things I like about it, as in it works on just about any surface that I've ever tried it on. But one thing in particular I like is that it has this little on/off switch on the bottom of it, so when the mouse is not being used and the switch is turned off, it prevents the AA battery that's inside of it from discharging.

It's a cute lil mouse. I didn't read the directions on how to install the battery (which came with the mouse). And it was super easy to figure out how to open the battery cover which also hid the USB transponder.

Freezing issue
It is small, agile and responsive, but periodically (about every other day) it "freezes." When that happens, I have to turn it off and then on again, which does fix that issue.

Dell lost my order which was supposed to have been delivered by Friday June 24, 2024: order status was supposed to have been updated by this past Friday 05/31/24, still no updates and still no response to my last two emails from the very nice Dell associate Waseem who I am gathering is based in India. I love my other Dell Inspiron and was ordering a second machine and the website had a great price....but the main reason I ordered direct was the speed they said it would take to get to me. Don't buy direct from Dell! Read the reviews, buy from your local retailer or anyone else. They use a TERRIBLE logistics platform called Pandion. I am highly disappointed in Dell customer service.

Its simple and really easy to use. It connects well and I haven't had a malfunction yet with it on my computer. What I will say about it is that the design does cause some issues. When taken off the case to either get your USB connector or to replace the battery you somtimes have to finagle with the mouse buttons as one of them tend to get stuck where one mouse buttonis stuck om the frame not in the right position.

This is a great compact mouse. The lid is easy to remove to get access to the USB adapter and battery and snaps with no hassle and with magnets. So far so good!

I bought the mouse to use with my laptop, as using the internal mouse causes discomfort to my fingertips. It replaces the mouse that I used with my outdated laptop; it would not connect to Windows 11 for some reason. Its a decent mouse but would recommend it only as a "travel sized" mouse. Lacks some of the ergo shape that I like. Also uses a Bluetooth USB receiver in the side of the laptop unlike some others that communicate directly to the laptop internal Bluetooth receiver.

I ordered this a couple of weeks ago at the same time as a laptop. Both said they shipped right away, but over a week later, UPS tracking still said they hadn't received the package. So about a week ago I got a ticket submitted, and then it took about another week for a new laptop to finally ship. Haven't received a laptop yet so I haven't been able to use the mouse. It's probably great...but unsure why Dell was able to hand the mouse to a UPS driver, but the laptop handoff just didn't happen.

The second time the mouse fell on the floor it no longer worked. My logitech mouse has fallen many times and still works so I am back to using it.

I needed a mouse for my laptop so I got this because it’s wireless. So far it has been working very well. It’s easy to set up thanks to the included “Quick Start Guide”. The mouse itself only requires one AA battery versus other mice I’ve used which have required two, so that’s a plus. I also like how there is a ON-OFF switch on the bottom of the mouse that way you are not running the battery out when it’s not in use. The only thing I didn’t like was how far the USB stuck out from my computer, a shorter one would’ve been better. Overall, this is a great mouse if you’re looking for something wireless.

This mouse has nice features, good tactile feel to scroll wheel and buttons, Best of all it is cordless. Connecting is a simple and quick process, just connect the wireless dongle to a USB port and follow the instructions. Feels well constructed, but is a little bit on the more compact size in terms of how bulky of a mouse you are accustomed to using.

Also bought a Dell laptop with this at the same time and sometimes the mouse and mouse pad attached to the laptop freeze up and stop working at the same time. I never had a wireless mouse before so I wasn't sure how this would be. I'm so glad I got to try this. The set up was very easy and fast to do. It's nice on my hand and doesn't hurt my wrist at all which is awsome. The quality is great and holds up well. The battery life is great and will last long. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good mouse. I recieved this as a sample and this is 100% my own opinion!

This was an easy wireless mouse to set up and use. I did it in about 2 minutes. Works well with my Dell, not sure about other brand computers. I'm sure it's as easy to set up with other brands. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless mouse.

I have been using the Wireless mouse for about 2 months now. I like it. Originally, I thought it Bluetoothed right into the computer, because I did not see the remote plug in. So I was a little surprised when I got it. That was my issue, not yours I do like the fact that it is stored inside the mouse for travel / packing. I kept loosing a similar one which was attached outside. thanks for a good product

I bought this wireless mouse to use with my work laptop. It’s very compact and easy to use. It take 2 AA batteries and there is an on off switch. You just plug the USB into your computer then switch in the mouse and you are good to go. It glides and clicks smoothly. I highly recommend

This review request seems to be jumping the gun, only had this mouse a couple of weeks, but seems reliable thus far. The one that came with my much-loved Inspiron all-in-one computer lasted seven years, so I have high hopes for this one to last me the rest of my life (I'm seventy-four years old as of 11/11 '~.

It uses up too much lithium battery. It only requires 1 AA battery; but, the battery only lasts for about 11 up to a maximum of 21 days. My older mouse required 2 AA batteries and lasted up to a maximum of 3 months. Not sure, if the Dell WM126 mouse is incompatible with PC.

Most of the time it does work as expected, however on occasion it will "stick" or slow down. That is, the movement of the cursor stops or slows and moves at a different (slower rate than it did immediately before.

This Dell Wireless Mouse was a breeze to setup. I was expecting it to take a while to get the mouse working with my computer, but it did not. I had the mouse working within seconds. It was very easy to install and works great with my computer even though I have a different brand computer. I have been using it for a few days and the battery is still going strong. I like the size and feel of the mouse, but the radio connector is for a regular USB port. My Dell portable only has USB-C port connectors. So why in the world would Dell suggest I buy a mouse with the wrong connector???

Great Laptop! Just what I wanted!
My old Dell laptop was dying (screen wouldn't come up without messing with the top), so my husband helped me pick out a similar, newer version of my old one. I have pretty simple needs; email, word processing and such so it was fairly simple. The price point of the Dells coupled with the quality (my last laptop lasted 6+ years) is perfect for us. We were able to get my new laptop within a two days and it included a wireless mouse, Windows 10 and all the memory and speed I need for my simple needs. I am extremely satisfied and would buy another Dell in a heartbeat.

Eats batteries for lunch
I suspect it's defective. It drains alkaline batteries in a week or two. Lithium batteries last a little over a month. I can't believe that they intend to sell a product that is this expensive to run, as well as being environmentally unfriendly. On the plus side, it works fine.

I bought the blue WM126 Dell Wireless Mouse and it broke in just a few days. I then purchased the same WM126 Dell Wireless Mouse in black and it broke in 4 days. The quality is awful, just awful. Skip purchasing this particular mouse. All I have to show for now are two non-functioning mice.

Okay - but confusing
My first laptop - and being senior citizen was confusing for me to navigate without more written instructions...had to keep going back to my desk top to find online help to set it up. I know this would not be a problem for young people but for me it was challenging. Now, I cannot tell when battery is charged and when it is not - I will probably just use laptop for vacations etc. and rely on my desktop for everyday use.

Excellent laptop (Inspirion 15-3567). Could not get past initial startup - reason unknown. Phone support was excellent - completed all tasks under 2 hours (not an easy task) - pleasantly surprised with efficiency and knowledge of support staff. Would recommend this system for above average users (not gamers).

The Dell wireless mouse is perfect. It's big enough to fit my hand but small enough to slip into my laptop bag. The top comes off easily to reveal the usb connector. The laser sensor works well on different surfaces (although they should be smooth). It's sleek looking and easy to clean. It's a great accessory.

I found this mouse to be a little too small for my hands however it fits perfectly in my wife hand. I like how it's all self contained with the dongle fitting inside the mouse and can be popped out when you want to use it.
It's perfect for traveling because of it's size and can be transported in any pocket of my backpack.

I think we have a total of 4 working laptops that are used on a regular basis. The set up is just as the box says. Plug it in and play. It is very easy to get to the battery. Just lift the top of the mouse off. There you find the battery and a convient place to store the USB so that you don't loose it.Thats my favorite thing about the mouse is it has a place to store the USB. Pull out the USB, plug it into your computer and instantly the mouse it ready to use. It works very well.

This is a good, basic mouse. It is light and compact which makes it great for portability, so you can definitely keep this in your laptop case/bag. In my setup, my PC is a few feet away from where I sit, but the connection seems to remain very strong and I have had no interruptions. It's nothing fancy, but it does what it's supposed to.

Expected it to work with my 1st Dell laptop with integrated Bluetooth functionality. It was the only mouse listed on the website as an accessory for the laptop, so I bought it. Instead, it required that I use the USB port for the Bluetooth Dongle to communicate with the mouse. Why would I want to buy something that hangs out on the USB port when I intentionally bought the bluetooth functionality with the laptop?

A Great Mouse
I absolutely love my Dell Mouse! It has great reaction time and is perfect size for my hand. It fits nicely in the palm of my hand and has a nice rubbery grip. This will be my 3rd Dell mouse over my lifetime and it is the only brand of mouse I will ever use as they last a very long time and never give out. The only reason I keep buying them is for additional laptops/computers or as gifts. This is the perfect mouse for anyone looking for a great quality hand sized mouse.

This is a much improved model of your earlier , bulkier model.. It fits well with my hand and seems to hae a longer battery life! The only drawbackis that you gaven't incorporated it into a 'bluetooth' connection; therefore reguiring the external 'dongle' A nice product!

My current mouse I am using for my computer is not wireless. So, it's not like I can move my computer wherever I want too. Getting a laptop with a wireless mouse is just so awesome for me. With a bad leg I need to set in my chair with my legs up. Now that I got a laptop and wireless mouse I can set in my chair and enjoy being online and able to take both wherever I want. The USB receiver is hidden inside
It's a very reasonable mouse at this price.
Heads Up! Mine came without a USB receiver (dongle) but Dell was very quick to send an entire replacement. It turns out that the dongle was, indeed, included, but the instructions are so incredibly poor that I never found it (I didn't even know what i was looking for!).
I am thankful for Dell's first-rate customer service.

I'm an old guy and this is the first wireless mouse that I've ever had. Go ahead and laugh that's acceptable but when I received the wireless mouse in packaging all I saw was a mouse in a battery. There was no USB receiver for the wireless mouse as far as I knew. I then went on your website and bought a USB receiver which did not work. I called back and again said how do I get this wireless mouse to work without a USB receiver? The tech at that time said it should be inside the mouse. After opening the mouse up I then saw that the USB receiver was inside the mouse. There is nothing in the instructions to prompt me to take the lid off of the mouse and see that the USB receiver was inside. I guess that is standard fare but I would have not known that unless someone had told me. LOL first world problems thanks for helping the old guy out.

I ordered this from Dell after i purchased the XPS15 laptop and found out mu old reliable mouse would not work with the thunderbolt USB ports. When i received the mouse i saw the same dongle as my old mouse and initially was disappointed. BUT after looking it over and READING the directions saw the Bluetooth option. connected and worked right away, and now i have a mouse that works with boith my new and old laptop. a two for one deal

It is new, so this review lacks any history. Once installed the mouse has performed perfectly. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is that the bluetooth mouse requires a micro USB to be plugged in to work - something that is a little inconvenient.

This is a pretty good little mouse. I used the points I got from my laptop purchase to get it. Unfortunately the laptop is so bad (and its been repaired twice, that it is unusable, (it's brand new). So the mouse works great on my new non dell laptop that I had to buy. So essentially thismouse cost me over $1200... and it's only worth $10.

I haven't had problems with it. It's just a small, inexpensive mouse to get from here to there. Nothing special. If I had to to pick one thing that's a problem, I'd choose that the cover comes off awkwardly, like the whole top of the mouse. I'm worried it's going to break. But for such a cheap price, I guess I could just buy another.

I am disappointed. I had considered returning this mouse since it often leaves the pointer stuck at one place when I move the mouse. The mouse I bought earlier works much better but I could not find the same model. The person I spoke to was not helpful and I learned if I move the mouse vigorously it will engage the pointer. I was going to order another mouse but decided against it since this one works so poorly.
