Simple and easy to use. Good small business solution
What do you dislike about the product?
It's feels old. It lacks features which have been purposefully held back. It doesn't interop well with certain sip trunks
What do you like best about the product?
The support team has always been accommodating in troubleshooting systems and setting up new processes. The setup of new telephones is simple and easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The iPhone App could use some more work, but when it works, it is excellent.
What do you like best about the product?
Their customer service is superb. We wanted to route our calls differently based on the line they came in and every time we have called their representatives have been very patient and very knowledgeable about their products. They always make sure the issue is resolved before getting off the phone
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't experienced any so far. Everything has been great. No complaints
What do you like best about the product?
As cliche as it sounds, I like how Switchvox just "works" and does what we need it to do. It may not have all the frills of other VOIP products, but for my use case it doesn't matter. I no longer have to use my office phone because SV helped me to link the two together. I haven't touched my office phone in months. I find the UI very user friendly and so far I haven't had any trouble setting up phone links. I've only had to contact support once when I was first setting up the product for my company, they were very friendly and quickly resolved my issues. The cost is very affordable compared to other products.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times my phones have gotten out of sync, it helps to restart the system every once and a while. Setting it up for the first time can be a bit complicated.
What do you like best about the product?
Having recently switched to Switchvox as my VOIP, I was somehwat skeptical to see how effective and simplistic it would be to use, but it honestly blows its competition out of the water. Switchvox is fast, nimble, reliable and sleek, making the integration between softphone and hard landline seamless. Unlike other soft phones, Switchvox's interface gives users the options to control volume, speaker settings, and other highly useful features all from one simple interface as opposed to having to dig through menu after menu to find one simple option.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this time I really can't think of a downside with Switchvox, other than the fact that the app version of the product is much less functional than the desktop version. However, since I am reviewing the software as a whole, I will confidently report that I can think of no problems with this software.
What do you like best about the product?
New feature Switchvox softphone for windows users
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some issue with pairing 2 switchvoxes, there are not basic tools for troubleshooting in switchvox such as Ping or traceroute and should be there
What do you like best about the product?
converged phones that allow you to link your cell phone to your office phone. I don't even have a phone on my desk any more
What do you dislike about the product?
set up can be complicated and creating custom time frames for emergency events like weather delays requires VPN access to our network
What do you like best about the product?
The web based admin UI is very user friendly. The IVR programming is flexible and powerful. The US Based support is knowledgeable and responsive. The hardware is reliable and performant.
What do you dislike about the product?
Switchvox is not based on the latest version of Asterisk. It lags behind...in the past it was more significant. We have had issues that appeared to be related to the old version of Asterisk under the covers...We have been running multiple Switchvox PBX's across our WAN for about 8 years. Over the years most of the bugs have gotten wrung out.
