Very user unfriendly
We have had nothing but grief with this product. The only good thing I can say is when we can get it to print the quality is good. We have two rolls of 3 inch core that we ordered as two inch that were unreturnable. When we start a new roll getting it in unskewed is a nightmare, recently we had half a roll come out on the floor because all commands to back it up caused the printer to feed several more feet. The interface for printing is very complex. Today we have been working for 2 hours to try to print 3 8 x 10s

Poor Poster Printer
I bought this 1 year ago to replace an HP Designjet 110, big mistake. An advertised feature of the T3170 is printing posters. This is the worst poster and photo printer I have ever used. It does not print true colors, is almost impossible to get to work with any Adobe suites products, poster layout is a hair pulling exercise. I have wasted nearly a full roll Epson Premium (Luster) Photo Paper (24 inx 90 Ft roll) and a full set of ink cartridges and not yet printed a single useable poster. I do not expect museum or exhibition quality photo prints, but I do expect Epson quality color and resolution on Epson paper. This printer is only used a paper weight and sometimes bookshelf for months now.
