What do you like best about the product?

I love the automatically generated gantt charts and the timeline feature.

What do you dislike about the product?

Everything you enter has to be just so so, it is very picky and quirky. Finding out just exactly how or what needs to be done is not very intuative either. If you do not do a lot of pre-work before putting your plan together most of the reports are work well.

What do you like best about the product?

You can tailor Microsoft Project to your needs. Unlike other 'free' software the relationships between concurrent tasks can be easily separated so that they don't cause issues with date clashes

What do you dislike about the product?

It's a costly piece of software to license and these days operates on a subsription basis, so not easy to buy outright. I'd like to see the 'good old days' when you bought a CD and owned the sotware for life!

What do you like best about the product?

It is easy to set up a Project Plan using templates provided in MS Project. Most project managers across industries understand reports/project plans generated from MS Project, whether or not they have used the software before.

What do you dislike about the product?

It was expensive especially at the very beginning of its adoption by Microsoft - so much so that it was not part of standard bundles we could get at work. But I think the pricing is much better now and the general adoption of MS Project has improved since the late 00s.
