What do you like best about the product?
Microsoft SharePoint has many superb features but the best ones that I like the most are: It allows a real-time quick collab with my teammates. I can easily share and store a large amount of data, that too securely. You can also manage what type of access is allowed to the people you are sharing it with. It is meticulously organized & other tools can smoothly be integrated with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Microsoft Sharepoint but it also has a scope for improvement. People who aren't tech-savvy may find it a bit complex to use. For example, extracting data might be a little difficult task for them for a few formats that is. Also when I want to upload multiple files I have to rename each one so that I don't get an Invalid error while uploading.

No automated backup of your sites and files without a further subscription.

SharePoint makes it easy for teams to manage documents and collaborate. It brings everything together in one place, helping boost efficiency and streamline workflows, so getting things done is simple.

While powerful, the setup and administrative processes are intuitive. The initial setup was a challenge for me and not user-friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
I have used sharepoint for 2 years, given the ease of creating database and storing them and column level security in basis of user rights, and on the table level where you can give access restrictions is really amazing, with less knowledge in DBMS i was able to work with it very well. The webparts developed with C# was easy to debug, develop and maintain, My whole time with it I loved it and would recommend. I used it everyday in my work, Establishing the whole integration was considerably easy. And views are easy to implement ( in the web parts) and runtime debug is also really good

Finding some bugs were more difficult while compared to other web apps, but not much to dislike.

I have created whole website for our working team and it's really helpful for our team. Specially we used for file sharing, task management, upcoming event and so on.

MS sharePoint have some of the limitation. Some time i can't use the special feature because of company limitation.

Super customizable. With Java injection or Flow and Power Apps can really be game changer.

What do you like best about the product?
Microsoft SharePoint is great for sharing files amongst team members and reducing the need for added emails. It's very fast and has a user-friendly interface, making it great for users of different skill levels. Our organization uses SharePoint daily since multiple users can access and edit files simultaneously. It also allows users to share files with users outside of the organization while maintaining access control. I like the ease of integration with Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Implementing SharePoint was very easy for our organization since we were already using Microsoft Teams. Every Microsoft Teams channel has an associated SharePoint site where the files are automatically stored.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downsides I have experienced with Microsoft SharePoint is that it becomes slow when there are larger files and the mobile app is a bit clunky.

We use it for hosting excel documents that require multiple staff to edit together.

As a design studio working on other designers files is difficult as links on indesign files often break
