Increase the connectors on your Surface® laptop or tablet with this Microsoft® Surface Dock 2 Docking Station. It has an RJ-45 Ethernet port that supports gigabit data transfer speeds for tapping wired networks in your home or office. With a 199-watt power supply, this Surface Connect docking station provides adequate power for charging your Surface device. An integrated 2.6-foot data Surface Connect cable provides compatibility with a variety of Surface devices, including the Surface Book 2, Laptop 3, Pro X and Studio 2.

The dock features two front-facing USB Type-C® connectors for connecting external drives and peripherals. Each of these USB-C ports provides up to 15-watts of power delivery for charging mobile devices fast. This notebook docking station also has two rear USB-C ports that support USB audio devices and DisplayPort™, so you can link your device to projectors and external monitors. The docking station supports video resolutions up to 4K at 60Hz. A 3.5mm in/out audio jack provides high-quality sounds. This device has two rear USB-A ports for your thumb drives.

It’s been great with my surface pro 7. Power block is huge only minor complaint I have about it. Multiple USB-C ports help a lot

Good convenient
I have issues with a delay when connected to external monitor via hdmi. Once I plug in my computer to the docking it takes almost a full minute for it’s a recognize external monitor and show the desktop

What more can you ask for when a dock is compact, light and helps make what is often a very cluttered desktop look and feel so simple! Great design!
