The IMS Ultra Low Temperature Sensor is used exclusively with the Sensaphone IMS systems to measure and provide real time ultra low temperatures from -121° to 53°F. The system will go into alarm when the temperature falls outside of the programmed high or low limit. The sensor's external temperature probe is coated to prevent cracking and allows it to be placed inside of freezers that go as low as -85°C. The sensor is ideal for medical or research cold storage freezers that keep a constant temperature below the limits of other Sensaphone temperature sensors. The included 12 feet of coated wire can be extended with optional accessory wire. The connection from the interface to the IMS system can use an existing CAT5 network wiring infrastructure, which powers the sensor and allows it to be installed in locations away from the IMS host device.
