Price! It's overpriced, so firms I worrked at, refused to pay it

Comprehensive toolset to develop database and manae it, Easyuser interface, speedy SQL optimization. Task automation and Productive very much. Very strong code quality tool. Easy to install and helpful to do integration
What do you dislike about the product?
Oracle Toad is expensive and need too many resources to run and computer became slow some time when run some big query. Customer support is difficult to get
What do you like best about the product?
In toad we can connect to any PROD & NON PROD databases. We can easily add space , datafiles to the particular tablespace. We can easily do any activity like updating or deleting anything on servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a lot of time for login. Whenever we open multiple sessions for different database, then it's performance is affected.
What do you like best about the product?
It can support mutiple databses types like IBM DB2, oracle db, cybase, etc. Also load with so many features like schema change, and easy to switch to other db and query and get data and export into various formats.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slower when query to legacy db like cybase

Windows based UI. Syntax checking. Colour coding.

Nothing that I can think of. Wherever I encountered an it was due to human error.

TOAD is much faster when compared to other IDEs while running huge and complex queries and it retrieved results in much faster time

It consumes a lot of memory and gets stuck sometimes
What do you like best about the product?
It allowed me to add all my databases and instances for the Oracle estate to the TOAD interface for reliable and fast connectivity. I can do many tasks so much quicker than with the command line interface.

The cost for the licenses must be taken into the equation is you wish to roll-out to a large team etc..

It's very easy to use the ui is so user friendly, all options are available hand, the shortcuts areoat useful which can be customised

It doesn't display the hirerarchy and user details, db details in a tree graph
