The SMART1500LCD SmartPro LCD 120V, 1500VA/900W Line-Interactive Uninterruptible Power Supply provides battery backup and AC power protection against blackouts, brownouts, power surges and line noise that can damage electronics or destroy data. Ideal for backing up your desktop computer or audio/visual components, this line-interactive UPS switches to battery backup mode in milliseconds to keep your connected equipment running long enough to save files and shut down safely with no data loss.
Eight NEMA 5-15R outlets protect against surges, as well as provide up to 11.8 minutes of UPS battery support at half load (450W) and 4.4 minutes of support at full load (900W). Automatic voltage regulation (AVR) corrects severe undervoltages as low as 75V and overvoltages as high as 147V without using any battery power. EMI/RFI noise filtering improves your equipment’s performance and prevents damage. A 480-joule surge suppression rating protects your equipment from harmful power surges.
NEMA 5-15P plug with 1.83 m (6-ft.) cord connects to any NEMA 5-15R socket. Large rotatable LCD screen with dimmer shows real-time input voltage, overload, AVR and battery statuses at a glance. Alarm sounds to indicate power loss or low battery. With Tripp Lite’s free PowerAlert software (available via free download), the SMART1500LCD enables safe unattended system shutdown and file saves in case of a prolonged power failure.

This was a breeze to set up & has been working great. I also like that you can mount it or use the mounting brackets to stabilize it when it's standing on its side. Shipped quickly too!

I haven't had a loss of power yet to test the UPS but it's added peace of mind knowing our computer is protected.

Rated 5 out of 5 byRonald from Almost perfect.Unit works great. Only problem is that I use Firefox for the internet it seems like your software will not work with that. I have only used Firefox forever, and refuse to go with any other one, so I can't use your software. It's a Java issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 bymassiej from Very reliable, easy to use and monitor.I am a long-time Tripp-Lite user and find the Smart 1500LCD to be of the same high quality as other Tripp-Lite products. I own two SMART 1500LCDs. The 8-outlet back panel accomodates my computer, dual monitors, external hard drive, sound system and scanner with room to spare. The front-panel LDC provides easy readings of incoming voltage, battery capacity and special voltage conditions, such as brownouts. Great product, small footprint. And the Tripp-Lite voltage-monitoring software guarantees a safe system shutdown (protecting my work) if a power outage occurs while I am away from my office.

Rated 5 out of 5 byChuckmccool from Awesome UPSUntil I installed this UPS I thought I was getting good clean power to my routers and modems but after installing this UPS I discovered that the power was dropping to 118vac and 122 on the high side and living in a very rural area the power flickers 3-4 time a week but not anymore, this was the best investment Ive ever made
