This screen protector is very obviously doing a great job of blue light blocking. It also installed very easily. The holder makes getting the glass positioned properly very easy. As always the key to no bubbles is proper cleaning of the screen and working in a dust free environment. Very pleased!

I 100% recommend this product. I dropped my phone in a tiger enclosure where it stayed for a week. When I got it back the screen protector was shattered and judging from the scratches on the back of my phone the 2 year old tiger had investigated a little. Once I removed the screen protector though, my phone screen was perfect, like nothing happened at all! Without this screen protector I would easily have needed a new phone.

This is my 2nd size/style of screen protector. I've been happy with the sturdy performance of Zagg products. This version has claims about antibacterial surfaces etc, but the real reason anyone buys these is for screen protection - period. Even with the fitting frame that comes in the box, it's still easy to get the alignment off, and with the curved edges of the new iPhones, you might end up with a bit of gapping or bubbling on the top corner edges. Minor things. With Zagg, I know my glass screen is well protected.

I love this rugged thing! I don't feel like it is going to break if I accidently drop it or my kids get around it. It has worked flawless every time I have used it and I love the light up keyboard option. It is a little heavy, but that is what I expected because it is made very well and rugged. It also paired very easily and fit my iPad air 10.9 tablet perfect.

So far so good!
I got this because I needed something a little more sturdy than what Apple was offering. I love the light up keyboard and the fact that I can change the colors of the lights. I also really love how flexible the entire set-up is while also making it easier to type while on my lap or on the go. I love how long the battery lasts (took it out of the box about 2 weeks ago and haven’t needed to put in on the charger yet). I also really appreciate how quickly it connects to the iPad.

Compare to Previous Rugged Book
We owned a rugged book for a previous i-pad air which worked very well. Over time, the magnetic connection faded and the two halves would not stay connected. Probably just age and use.
It is a safe housing for an expensive electronic item. The operating keyboard is a very nice touch.

This keyboard is heavy but does protect the device. It takes a long time to charge but also holds a charge reasonably well. It is easy to detach the screen from the keyboard but difficult to get the screen into the protective frame. It has a loop for securing the stylus.

This is a great product! I had the previous model for my old iPad Pro and loved it so, of course, had to have it for my new one. Everything about it is a pro with the exception of the clicking noise the keys make when typing. I called and was told they made the keys more stable, however, I didn’t have a problem with the older model.

I use the rugged book more than my laptop at work due to the portability and convenience it provides.
Keyboard holds a good charge with minimal charging.
The keyboard keys are good for about a year with daily use in the field.

Didn’t t work out of the box
Called and needed app installed to update firmware or something. This is a work tablet and we can’t download apps. For 150 bucks this should be ready to go out of the box. Now I’m stuck with a keyboard that I can’t update until IT gets back to me on it. Not fun. Woulda went another route so I had a functional keyboard.

Good quality, solid build. Only suggestion would be to improve the ‘rigidity’ around where the pencil is stored as many times one tries to open the case there stretching and pulling it away from the iPad. In the interim guide customers to open from the corners which are more robust.

Barely works / inconsistent
I really wanted to like this device, but I have had it for a month and a half ( even got a warranty replacement) and it still barely works. Sometimes, it’ll show itself as connected to my iPad, but won’t type anything. I had this issue with two devices. It’s hard to get a hold of customer service and the online articles haven’t helped.

I love my iPad, but don't use it nearly enough to justify buying a laptop. I bought blue tooth keyboards in the past, but they were difficult to use when in the truck, on the road, or in other non-typical locations. The rugged book was a great solution. A coworker had one and I was impressed by it. So I got one myself and am quite happy with it.

The rugged book makes me feel confident if I drop my iPad it’s going to be okay. Works really communication has been really good with my iPad. The only thing that would make it better is if when the iPad is attached to the keyboard if it could go all the back so you can hold it as one piece. But it separates from the keyboard which is nice.

This is really heavy duty protection, and the keyboard has a great feel. I really like the way it unfolds to open and support my I-pad for typing. The Zagg rugged case that I go is a tank of a set up and that is exactly what I needed. I use my iPad on outdoor job sites, bounces in equipment and work trucks. When I don’t need the keyboard I just pop the tablet free and away I go.

I have always enjoyed previous Rugged Keyboards for my older iPads. I purchased a Rugged Keyboard for my new iPad Air 5th Gen, however, I am not as happy with the "keys" as I was with the old version. There is a lot of "clicking" when typing and if your nails are a bit long, they double up the letters you are typing (i.e. no space between next word). Also, it has place for a "stylus" on the top but when you go to open the top of the book, sometimes the part that holds the stylus comes off the iPad. I would have preferred it being a rugged book without a stylus.

Good quality, solid build. Only suggestion would be to improve the ‘rigidity’ around where the pencil is stored as many times one tries to open the case there stretching and pulling it away from the iPad. In the interim guide customers to open from the corners which are more robust.

I purchased my iPad Air with the Apple Magic Keyboard. That keyboard is great for stationary use of the iPad (for sheer typing, it is better than the ZAGG and comes with a trackpad. However, I did not feel at all comfortable placing the iPad in a backpack with the Magic Keyboard; it did not protect the sides and the Apple Pencil was only secured by the charging magnet (it always came off during transport). With the ZAGG, the iPad is much more protected, and it secures the pencil to the case while also charging. The iPad can remain in the case, while either removed from the keyboard or reversed for use as a tablet. The Keyboard has a USB-C charging port, so an additional cord is not necessary (if only Apple would upgrade the iPhone to an USB-C…). It also holds a very long charge. If you travel a lot or frequently move your iPad, I highly recommend this keyboard.

The rugged book makes me feel confident if I drop my iPad it’s going to be okay. Works really communication has been really good with my iPad. The only thing that would make it better is if when the iPad is attached to the keyboard if it could go all the back so you can hold it as one piece. But it separates from the keyboard which is nice.

I really wanted to like this device, but I have had it for a month and a half ( even got a warranty replacement) and it still barely works. Sometimes, it’ll show itself as connected to my iPad, but won’t type anything. I had this issue with two devices. It’s hard to get a hold of customer service and the online articles haven’t helped.

This is my 3rd Zagg product. It has met all expectations. The Bluetooth keyboard is easy to connect and the case part fits great. The only thing that was a bit surprising when compared to my other two was the weight of it. Hopefully that will be worth it if and when I drop it. I love this case/solution for my iPad and pencil. It’s a pretty tough product. My only issue is the Apple Pencil will charge in the case. You have to peel back the case to charge. I did find another charging method to avoid that challenge.

the Rugged book was shipped and received as promised. It does not come with a charging cord as it uses the same cord that comes with the ipad.
I love the toughness of the Rugged Book. Although a little hard to get the ipad into, it is very snug, secure and protected. The keyboard works great. I like the feel of the keys and the area to rest your hands.

Am 100% satisfied with this device. Essentially it turns my ipad into a mini laptop. Keyboard has the feel of a quality laptop. I like the way I can adjust the angle of my iPad to any angle I want. Battery has an exceedingly long life. Only “con†is that it is heavy, but I suppose that is the trade off for this case being very solid & very protective.

1. When attached to the iPad Pro Mini, the Zagg rugged cover drains the Mini battery in less than 1.5 hours when closed.
2. The pictures I saw on line shows that the keyboard can be used freestanding with the screen propped up. In fact, there is no way to prop up the screen when it is not attached to the cover.

This Zagg cover for my iPad provides great protection for accidental drops and bumps. The keyboard is amazing as it turns your iPad into a mine computer allowing me to quickly type answers to emails, chats, and texting. The Rugged Book is a little bit heavier than I like - however, I really like this keyboard as compared to my previous two or three Slim Book keyboards. It is much easier to type on and definitely much sturdier. Feels like a much stronger and more solid hinge than on the Slim Book. I do like it very much. Thank you.

Amazing product. Very secure and durable. Also my favorite feature is that this product really makes your iPad feel like a laptop. The free standing ability to be able to have my iPad on my lap and type away with my screen at any angle is by far one of the best features . Also I have not charged it since I plugged it in. If you are looking for a keyboard for your Ipad that is durable fast reliable and worth the money. BUY THIS. This made my iPad feel so much like a laptop I found myself going for a trackpad often. However the able to type , and then use my finger on the iPad for manual control makes my iPad a two in one laptop!Amazing product and would absolutely recommend.

Battery Issues & representations
1. When attached to the iPad Pro Mini, the Zagg rugged cover drains the Mini battery in less than 1.5 hours when closed.
2. The pictures I saw on line shows that the keyboard can be used freestanding with the screen propped up. In fact, there is no way to prop up the screen when it is not attached to the cover.
